So I will say my 2 cents on GW and LZX too based on episode 24 DVD. Gu Wei had a human reaction to what happened…
I agree with you up to certain point. Gu Wei is a human and he’s actions are justified based on what just happened to his life. But no, Zhi Xiao is also a human who can’t read mind. Bear in mind that she’s only 20 years old. She’s not a superwoman who knows something would happen to him whether it be the hospital or personal problems if he doesn’t want to communicate. Gu Wei literally just had to say “Please wait for me, I’ll tell you when I’m ready.” then the problems could have been solved. In Zhi Xiao’s perspective, there could have been different issues like he fall out of love, doesn’t want her anymore, etc. Who would literally thought that such a dramatic things would happen to him when he’s been portrayed as a good doctor this whole time? Zhi Xiao literally tried her best to confront him, knock his door, call him, etc and he keeps refusing to communicate and shut himself. She said he’s a failure as a boyfriend because he doesn’t put trust in her which is frustrating in a relationship. I really think what Zhi Xiao did really knock some sense into him because he literally is about to give it all up. Why would she always have to be the one to go out of her way to find out when the dude himself doesn’t want to talk about it. Why can’t she release her stress by going to the party and forget about the frustration and sadness that has been bottled up? WTF? You want her to sit in her room and cry ?
Btw, you would think Dr. Gao and her are that type of friendship where she can just casually ask lol.

No, i don't think everyone is siding with gu wei, i have only seen 5-6 people that are complaining here where…
I didnt literally mean every single person here lol. It’s just a gernalize statement based on the recent comments. I do respect different opinions but their explainations are clearly flawed in many ways and VERY BIASED. What they look at is the actor and not the character he’s portraying which is kinda frustrating. :(

I watched first episode and just… why chinese romance dramas are always like this. And the FL’s too, being…
I like Zhi Xiao character tbh. I don’t think she’s immature consider her age and it really fits perfectly with the main lead if you give it a few more episodes .

I genuinely wish yz and xz never coorporate ever again. His cp fans are rlly toxic. You can already tell from…
PREACH! I really hate it when they blindly blame certain character just because their character’s favorite actor is affected by it instead of thinking in a more logical way 🙃

She is neither rude nor apathetic towards him. From her pov he embarrassed her infront of her parents, didn't…
If you are being considerate of their age gap then their perspective would also be different as well. Zhi Xiao is only 20 and she’s experiencing love for the first time. Of course it’s very understandable by the way she acts. You never been immature and act of out impulse? If you say she’s immature by being upset over something small then isn’t Gu Wei the same by intentionally making her jealous? You’re literally showing your biased towards the male lead here.

Why is everyone siding with Gu Wei when he’s clearly in the wrong here ? Yes. As a viewer, we emphatize with him and understand his perspective but as Zhi Xiao, it’s different. Why does she not have the right to be angry and frustrated? He keeps things to himself and not putting trust on her. Yes, he has a lot going on at the moment but she’s clearly not a mind reader. Zhi Xiao clearly want an explaination because she’s confused on what the F just happened and what did he said? “Nothing, you just think too much.” like anyone would buy that! If he would at least explain why he can’t tell her the reason instead of brushing her off like she’s someone he can’t lean on. Zhi Xiao’s actions are justified based on how she explains it to Gu Wei.
Let Zhi Xiao just understand Gu Wei and comfort him without knowing what’s going on???! Like what is this logic? She defended him because she knows he’s a good person but as a boyfriend, he clearly isn’t being considerate of her. I guess as Zhi Xiao said it, their perspectives are different be it her first relationship, etc.

Idk. Telling your boyfriend he's a failure in your relationship while he's down is a shitty thing to do. She can…
I disagree and this is solely on that preview. Let's say that Zhi Xiao knows about his situation. In Zhi Xiao's perspective, she wants Gu Wei to lean and rely on her more. She's willing to listen and if he just says along the line of "Please wait for me, I'll tell you when I'm ready" like give her a brief reason why he can't tell her then I'm pretty sure Zhi Xiao would be willing to wait until he wants to tell her. Gu Wei chose to run away from his problems instead of trying to solve them. He literally just give everything up and that's not the Gu Wei that Zhi Xiao fell in love with. Zhi Xiao literally has to clean up his mess for him. Is it not frustrating when your partner is clearly struggling but you're not trustworthy enough for them? <- In relationship perspective not Gu Wei's btw.
- He also just suddenly change 180 and pushed Zhi Xiao away and I bet it literally took a toll on her as well. Yes, Gu Wei is struggling but from Zhi Xiao perspective as well, isn't it more frustrating when you don't know anything and the reason why he did what he did?

I honestly wouldn't blame Gu Wei for not communicating as of right now~. Sometimes when bad things unexpectedly happen one after another, you just really need that alone time to process everything before communicating with everyone else. Gu Wei's emotions right now are a mess and he just needs that moment to sort things out himself. The way Zhi Xiao knocks some senses into Gu Wei though .. YOUU GOO GUURRLL !!!!!!!

Honestly, it's not fat shaming if you differentiate the culture differences. Asian countries BMI has always been…
Sorry that I didn't specify different groups of Asia lol. I'm only generalizing the common ones that we know in dramaland.

Her kisses were better with her ex bf drama they had. It got better in go go towards the end. The psychologist…
I've watched The Dragon Pearl as well and her ex is really good at leading the kisses. It's like he's eating her out at that point. I feel like Yang Zi is still too shy when it comes to intimate kisses. She's like Park Shin Hye, literally a brilliant actress but can't kiss well~

Tbh, props to the director for giving Zhi Xiao and Gu Wei so many kiss scenes but I am still not satisfied with their kisses. Maybe I watch too many Korean dramas but C-drama has also stepped a notch on their kiss scenes but ZHAO ZHAN AND YANG ZI's lips are barely MOVING T_T. I've watched Yang Zi's dramas and her kisses are pretty bad. Back then, it was understandable since it's an ancient drama (Ashes of Love) and she has a bf at the time, but now, her kiss scenes are still the same. In ( The Psychologist ) Bo Ran LITERALLY did all the deeds T_T. ( I FUCKING LOVE YANG ZI BTW, JUST A LITTLE RANT COZ I WANT THEM STEAMY KISSES). I have no comment on Xiao Zhan since I only watch The Untamed LOL.

I’m bothered by the fat shaming in the latest episode. Is this a normal thing in C-drama?
Honestly, it's not fat shaming if you differentiate the culture differences. Asian countries BMI has always been on a skinnier side. Even your family will call you a fatty if you gain a bit of weight.

I know a lot of people find San San to be annoying but putting it in a perspective, I totally understand her overprotectiveness. Considering Zhi Xiao being new to relationships and a naive personality who doesn't even go to parties... As a friend, I would be cautious with a guy that's 10 years older than her and a cousin with a PLAYBOI LOL.
AND HONESTLY SPEAKING, If you see your friend's crush hanging out at the bar with different girls, are you not going to take pictures and send them to your friend, or is it JUST me?

Love is not fun. Sometimes someone can fell for similar personality & sometimes can't. Maybe FL helped him overcome…
Yes, I understand the general idea of love. It really can go both ways, the same with time.. You can know someone for a long time but the spark isn’t there vs knowing someone for a brief moment and already fallen for them.
