The cost production for The Untamed wasn't high, but they still manage to pull off and rise in popularity. BRUH, Not gonna lie but they casts hella handsome actors. The Untamed was highly anticipated by loyal novel fans and I'm glad they stick to the novel and doesn't change much except the BL concept. It was a nice drama tbh even though there are CGI/effects flaws due to low budget but I still love it.

Yea, that's why most of the Chinese dramas are ruined not because of the story plot itself but because of bad acting. If the actors can't portray the character well and live up to the audience expectation then the whole drama would just be a joke no matter how good it is. ZzzZ Feel the same way with Legend of Awakening, there are many good support casts who sway my emotions and they are the reason why I want to continue to give this show chances but when you keep seeing the MAIN LEAD WHO CAN'T ACT, it just become hella annoying.

My logic is that once you starred in a drama, the writer/ production crew can see your potential and casts you as main leads. I'm replying to the person above is that, because XiaoZhan and Yibo have starred in dramas before, they can show off their acting skills which are why the production crew casts them for The Untamed without going through the process of auditioning unlike Wen Ning, Xue Yang, Xing Chen roles. Those who are just starting out their career has to audition to show off their acting skills to the production crew so that they can be cast and my argument tied to Cheng Xiao who also just started out her acting career but did not go through any audition probably because of connections and a big company of course, does my explanation make sense now?

Bruh, You stated that Xiao Zhan and Yibo didn't have any major role and my point is that they do and have starred in many dramas whether it's important or not. MY POINT STANDS that the production crew sees their potential in those dramas and cast them because of their skills not because of connection. WHICH MEANS WHAT IM SAYING IS THAT they have TALENT and THEY CLIMB IN POPULARITY BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN POTENTIAL NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE KISSING THE PRODUCTION CREW ASSES.

I'm not comparing The Untamed with Legend of Awakening because they are very different. I'm just arguing about the casts and actors in Legend of Awakening. The Production crew spent so much money for this drama but the casts does not live up to expectation. Cheng Xiao just started her acting career and already have many main leads which makes me wonder if she even audition for the drama and the production crew did not see that she lacks a lot in acting before casting her but then again, there are many connections that can overlook talents like another person said in the above comment.

I'm saying they show off their potential in acting which means they have the skills that's why the production crew casts them for The Untamed. I did not say anything bad about their acting?

My argument was that there are actors out there who just started their career but already have many main roles in their upcoming drama without going through the process of auditioning and just straight up getting cast. They can't show their acting skill or portray the drama at all. Unlike other actors whom start out as supporting roles and slowly climb up to gain their popularity. Please read my original statement.

If you're here to argue about XiaoZhan and Yibo then you can go because that's not what my argument about.

After all, Xiao Zhan and Yibo has starred in many dramas whether it be supporting roles or main roles, it doesn't matter if they are lead or not. They still play a major part of the drama they are in, not guest role but support role that has an impact in the drama if you know what I'm saying. BUT LIKE I SAID, IT'S NOT EVEN MY POINT? MY POINT IS THAT THEY DEBUT AS ACTORS BEFORE THAT'S WHY PRODUCTION CREW TAKE AN INTEREST IN THEIR SKILL AND CAST THEM UNLIKE OTHER ACTORS WHOM JUST START OUT THEIR ACTING CAREER AND HAD TO AUDITION FOR THE ROLE. COMPARE TO THE ONE WHO STRAIGHT UP HAVE SEVERAL MAIN LEADS ROLE WHEN THEY JUST START THEIR ACTING CAREER LIKE CHENG XIAO. My argument is still relevant whether Xiao Zhan or Yibo has big project or small project. Why can't you understand my argument? The whole point wasn't even about Xiao Zhan or Yibo but apparently that's all you care about LOL.

I never said many dramas as in main leads. They are starred in "MANY DRAMAS" as in support and main leads not just the main lead alone.

Yibo has many main roles before The Untamed to show off his acting skills. He was in Love Actually and Gank Your Heart. Xiao Zhan also has many support roles that greatly impact the drama. (Main roles in Super Star Academy and Oh My Emperor). Even if they didn't have any main roles, that doesn't change my point here. They appear in many dramas that show their potential as great actors which is why production crew specifically casts them for other dramas. unlike some actors who just start out their acting career but already have many main roles in their upcoming dramas with out potential or skills in acting.

I was looking forward to every episode because the plot was very interesting in the beginning and mid ep. Everything went downhill when Lu Ping's master die. I legit find no joy in watching this series after he die. I love the suspend and major twists that the story provide to keep the viewer on their seats, but it just die down and became boring.

Yibo and XiaoZhan made their acting debut way before The Untamed with many dramas. They have the potential that's why the production crew specifically casts them without going through the "audition" stage for the role unlike other The Untamed characters like Wen Ning, Xue Yang, Xing Chen, etc since they just starting out their acting career.

I'm giving Cheng Xiao as an example, she had just made her acting debut in 2020 and already have lead roles with many upcoming dramas. Did she not go through audition stages for the leading role or did the production crew just specifically cast her without seeing her "acting." Well, I guess you are right about connections that can overlook talents. I would just feel bad for other talented actors who only get small supporting roles and slowly climb up the ladder then there's someone who just starting out and already at the top of the mountain with no sweats. But I guess, being an idol with a population can be a major impact on your acting career as well.
NOTE: I don't hate Cheng Xiao, she's talented when it comes to singing, dancing. AN IDOL.

The story/plot line main focus isn't even about doctors or hospital/ saving lives stuff. It's a romance drama that revolves around the relationship of the two main lead rather than hospital/doctors type of drama.

I'm not familiar with the Chinese industry and how they cast actors for dramas but do they really have no expectation for actors? They drop millions of dollars investing in a drama and just cast someone that has no experience in acting/ first-timers. Do they not go through audition for the character that they are portraying? I have seen countless of main leads that can't express their emotions for the character they are portraying. Just straight up BAD. At least give them a support role so it wouldn't ruin the whole drama.

- I know that rookies auditioned for their role and professionals don't, but singers/idols are considered rookies too when it comes to acting. Idk what they are thinking.

I'm surprised to see a lot of people hated Gyu Ri so much instead of Min Hee. I couldn't stand Gyu Ri at first either but at least she's strong and isn't a scaredy-cat. She doesn't run away and leave Ji Soo alone even though she totally could and just abandoned him. I'm so speechless with this Min-Hee character that I don't even know where to start listing the things I hate about her. Why does she accept the job when she can't even live up to it? If your body can't handle it then quit. Because of her weakass, a lot of people got involved but then act like she's the victim among all which makes me so pissed.
- The actors did a splendid job with their acting, just the character that I hate.
Why do I love Gi Tae so much even though he's a bully? Badass character with the most badass scene where his gang and him wreck the karaoke place.

- 1st half was good until they change the story completely. zzz
- The young emperor stole the whole show for me. His acting is beyond amazing!

The rating of this drama is like my grades. Went from 9.1 to 8.5 in one day.

It's human instinct to be curious and read someone's diary though I agree that he should return it to its original owner since he has kept it for so long.
- It's shown that he was researching and came across the picture in which SB or her friend uploaded online [3D figured] . He clicked on it then came across her friend's social media. That's not even stalking. Is it wrong to follow someone's social media? <- Kinda made obvious that it's his first time stumbling across her friend's instagram.
- Good grief. Although he's relationship with his fiance isn't love, I'm still glad that he made everything clear with SB and wont lead her on. - We'll see what happens.

Tbh, The writer lean towards the relationship between SB and SH too much in the beginning. It contradicts the repetition of their past lives. SB is learning more about JB even though her heart beats for SH atm [BECAUSE OF THE PAST] but eventually, her heart will change by time imo. The love between SB and SH is obviously too one-sided and left JB being a third wheeler. It gives me a slim of hope for SB and JB. Hope my guess is right OR ELSE I'LL REGRET WATCHING THIS DRAMA.
