I also saw this post on Soompi’s forum and I totally agree. Xu Feng never once hated JM. His love for her is deeper than the ocean. He gave the Phoenix feather to JM long time ago when their love just start to bloom. The owner of the Phoenix’s feather is not Xu Feng anymore but JM. Xu Feng clearly know that the feather will protect JM because that’s clearly the feathers job LIKE CMMON HE SAID IT. He keeps lying to himself that he doesn’t love her anymore and trying to forget her, yet everytime Xu Feng sees JM, his heart soften with his desired to run towards her and hold her tight. But then again he never get to confirm her real feelings, and because of her betrayal, Xu Feng doesn’t want to believe what JM said, even though deep down in his heart HE WANTS HER. Anyways Of course Xu Feng would push JM away because WHO WOULDN’T? In his perspective JM is the one who KILL HIM in front of RUN YU who he’s trying to fight against. Xu Feng doesn’t know how much she sacrificed for him, he only believe what he see and that is JM’s betrayal.

Now I’m just watching all of their BTS over again. Their interactions are just too cute!!!!!!

Yang Zi is just an amazing actor. I really fell in love with her after watching Ashes of Love. OMG She's so cute on and off screen. Rooting for you girlll

Yet I don't like her character either, she's too soft. Telling someone to fight for love but she really did nothing about her love either, just sit there and cry all by herself. Like cmmbruh you just gonna sit there and follow all of his orders and never ask him to return to his old self and what he did was wrong. At least tell him that he deserves someone else or that he changed a lot or help JM escape or like DO SOMETHING WITH UR LIFE.

Did KL knows that JM doesn't love him ? I don't think so, all she know is that XF loves JM and RY also love JM. KL doesn't want RY to just keep feeling bad for XF and had to give up what he loves again for him. I think what KL said is right. He is too nice and gave up a lot for XF. Fighting for something is not wrong but don't be because of that reason that will leads you to the dark side. WHICH is what happen to him sadly.

Tbh, you can't really blame the guard if you know RY REALLY never had anything that belongs to him. She just want to encourage him to stop giving up and try to achieve what he actually want. She never tell RY to be evil and steal JM away from XF. All of RY other methods are evil because he actually choose to do them himself because of his emotional break down after his mother pass away. He's at a point of no return :'/

I'm glad that this drama has a happy ending, A part of me being satisfied and another part of me wanting JM and XF to have more interactions towards the end (SKINSHIP) >-> . I also want to know what happens to the Moon Deity and Yan You as they didn't even show up in the last 2 episodes. I hope RY would finally accept the guard's feeling since she has been with him through everything with loyalty in her heart. She really wishes nothing but for his happiness. SHE REALLY DESERVES BETTER BRUH

This drama is the best C-Drama I've ever watch. I will always remember this drama and its beautiful scenery. I want to thank all of the actors that give me an emotional ride from the 1st ep to the last episode. All of my time are well spent.
Well now that it ended, I feel so empty :( I hope the actors reunited in another drama in the future. I'll be looking forward to it. I mean I'll wait for 17-13= 4 YEARS FOR ANOTHER COLLABORATION.

Same this is the first drama that I watch of both Yang Zi and Deng Lun. I really ship them a lot even thought I know they think of each other as sister/brothers/bestfriend.
At first when I watch the Mv of the drama, I thought it wouldn’t have a happy ending because JM stabbed Phoenix in the back, so I was hesitate to watch but I’M REALLY GLAD I WATCHED THE DRAMA or else I would miss out a really outstanding, awesome drama like this.

The main casts are all great actors and it’s really enjoy it. The support casts are also really good, especially the Moon Deity. I found him really enjoyable to watch. I really want to praise Yang Zi for her splendid performance at acting all innocent at the beginning but then slowly maturing up. She would be the first main actress that I was really satisfy with in the story line as well as acting components.

I don’t think anyone can move on after watching this drama because it deeply touch my heart and flow out my emotions for the drama. :p

I was confused on that part too. Did he know that JM was there and purposely said SH’s name when he kiss her to make her give up ?

The main guy is smart but retarded sometimes. Even tho I really enjoy this drama and their chemistry. 100% would recommend if you're into romance

Oh yeah, I planned to watch that drama after I'm officially finish with Ashes of Love. It's really hard for me to kinda watch other drama where Deng Lun is couple with other girls since I love Yang Zi and him so much. They had a lot of chemistry that make me ship them so hard.

The affects are also the reason why I love this drama too. 100/10 affects and editing. Most beautiful scenery in all Historical C-Drama I've watched.

I discovered this drama last week and binge watch it for 5 days straight until I just reach the recent episode. I could clearly see why this drama is so addicting. They have all components, cute, innocent, acting, funny, etc. The scenery is really so beautiful like no joke. Another reason why I really love this drama. It's also now my #1 drama of all time.

The female lead has feeling for only one male lead and follows him till the end. Her feelings never change.

This drama is really worth it. "Doctor Stranger" really fits the title. The operation scene is really satisfying to watch. The beginning is so cute and innocent but towards the middle, it becomes a bit confusing but I still enjoy this and the Main Couple. I actually like the MAIN COUPLE that ends up together. Really hope that I'm not the only one :)

I clearly know that Lin Dong (Yang Yang) will eventually end up with Huan Huan (Crystal) yet I still don't want to believe it. I watch this drama for all the romance scene of Lin Dong and Qing Zhu (Claudia). Qing Zhu is more likable even though she's cold-hearted but in the end, she still cares and loves him even though she doesn't admit it. Huan Huan in the other hand is just a troublemaker that's really annoying and she doesn't even know it LOL. The main character that I don't enjoy. :'/

I personally wanted a happy ending for the 2nd main girl as well. She deserves way better:'/

You really gotta watch Ashes Of Love, Literally the best ever C-drama that I've watch. Cute, sad romance. Everything included.

Ep 1-17 was awesome, it makes me want to watch more. The Insane King's acting was the best in my opinion even though I really like WeiLong XD. Through ep 18++ The plot was different make me a bit confused but I was able to adapt to it after watching more episodes. Even though I would of like it more if they didn't change the whole story plot and just stick to one. There are conflicts that happen one after another. It was enjoyable but wouldn't say the best. I don't regret watching this drama though :)
