yup. she is old in this drama. the way she treats him too you can just tell that he has been groomed.

idk what other people think but looking at third prince and empress lv relationship i can only think of grooming.. in real life there is only 5 year age gap but looks wise she looks way older than him in this drama... its probably the makeup because she looks her age outside the drama. this styling and makeup makes her look like she is in 40s. and ofcourse 3rd prince looks like someone in his early 20s.

i am loving it so far. on ep 17 so far. a political drama that is interesting. perfect amount of romance, suspense, drama, tension. this is how you do an enemies to lovers. sometimes writers make leads fall in love and trust each others really quickly but here its perfect so far. they are clearly falling in love but trust is not fully there.. which completely makes sense if we look at their past and motives. even in mistrust you see how shen zai ye has changed because he is still giving her chances but he has not turned dumb in love.

i wanna know what evil shamans relation is with gyeonu. he hates her but still lets her treat him like shit.. there is no way he is letting a random shaman treat him like that. like he just left when it was seonga (as shaman) but evil shaman says such hateful words and literally throws salt directly on his face but he just sits there.. they have to be related somehow

man i loved the manhwa but why they had to use joseon setting. how hard it was to set it in a fantasy world. its lowkey pissing me off. its not like they havent done it before the last empress and king eternal monarch had alternative worlds. they could've done something similar with this drama.. but out of all the options they had to use this one. the dresses and everything is plain. they could've went alchemy of souls way or anything but this!

that scene where he saves her after her car brake fails and she says i cant still trust you bcz i cant even trust myself.. that scene has my heart. so well done!

i am only on episode 3 right now so i dont know what will happen in future but chemistry between taeoh and jaewon is unreal. they dont even do much but you can see love between them. i dont wanna sound crazy but collegues/friends dont have chemistry like that. taeoh deffo likes her but jaewon treats him differently too. they have really good chmeistry. even tho she is married they still make me wanna root for them.

haocun and anyu have such great chemistry. and such pretty faces. I love them so much <3

i wanna know others opinion. i love the show but rating was 7.8 yesterday. its has gone up to 8 but i think its average mdl rating should be solid 8.2-8.5. maybe i am just biased lol thats why i wanna know others opinion. probably weird angle kiss scenes disappointed many people. but apart from that it is a good drama. leads were never supposed to be average people.. they were always weird so their relationship is also weird and not 'normal'. thats just how they are personality wise. i might be biased w/o realising but i dont think i am..

LHC and WAY are perfect together. i love them so much so i will ignore this and just enjoy the show. it is still a good show in my opinion. cute and fun to watch.

i am conflicted about kiss scenes actually. i do feel like kissing scenes would be better but its not like there are not dramas w/o kissing scenes. but for that you have enhance other things. more skinship and hugs would've been better. I love haocun but i truly thing she should not take on full feldged romance drama if she doesnt wanna do kissing scenes. I am ok with dramas that have romance as sub-plot not having kiss scenes but where drama is basically just full on romance/ love story you would want to see kiss scenes. haocun should just do non-romance dramas which would be a shame because her face is perfect for romance dramas. i think her looks suits romance genre more than any other genre. in future if lhc decides to change her mind and starts doing kiss scenes like ren jialun i will sure look back at this drama and have regrets. WAY and LHC look perfect together so it is a shame.. kinda. I still love the show.
