I’ve just completed the show after binge watching for 2 days. It’s hands down one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I love the potrayal of the FL in this show. Usually a cute FL in dramas is shown as a doormat but here despite being super adorable and sweet the FL was assertive in her decisions, knew when to draw a line and was ML’s champion in a lot of scenes. The ML is such a positive character. I don’t think I’ve seen a more mature ML than JiaXu. The level of care, patience and perseverance he showed throughout the show was so heart warming. I just wish this show came out when I was an extremely insecure teenager who was a doormat. I could have learned a lot from both the leads.
I think Kang Ho will probably go to jail because of getting involved with Woo byeok group. I was watching the longer version of the netflix trailer and it looked like he had written a letter to his mother telling her he missed her, I don't why but it felt like he wrote it to her from prison.
Episode 9 ending!! I couldn't even watch it properly cuz I was blushing so much, I felt like I was intruding on something very personal. Now that is what you call good acting!!❤❤
It took me some time to calm down. But after thinking on it for a few days, I realised why the breakup was necessary. Although not executed well story wise but still, the breakup scene is one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen in cinema PERIODT. Their relationship from start to end was extremely beautiful and it was portrayed in a beautiful way as well. That is what I think about this show, BEAUTIFUL.
I was already a NJH fan but he was phenomenal here. This was my first time watching KTR and now I'm going to watch all her filmography, she's sooo good. Kudos to all of the cast and crew members, they created such a masterpiece that would be remebered as being one of THE best dramas south korea has to offer, at least in my opinion. A solid 9 for me.
While randomly scrolling through youtube to overcome the depression the ending gave me, I was recommended this song of onerepublic & gryffin that was released just 2 days ago and when I listened to it ...My God does it fit BaekDo to the T. Please do give it a listen, its a really good song.
