Episode 11 humor is abit slaptick to me. And the way Du Shik get kicked, slapped by the female lead for the sake…
I was about to comment the same thing. He had a nosebleed for God's sake, I know it was exaggerated so as to appear funny but her banging her head at him and kicking him is not funny at all. I really wish kdrama writers move past this trope of 'female hitting male=funny'. The same thing happened with Hwa Jeong and Yeong Guk and I didn't find it funny at all. ( She actually did kill a mosquito but we know why that scene was included and it definitely wasn't because of the mosquito)
I'm pretty sure Du Shik is gonna reject Hye Jin. The same thing happended in the parent story, ML told the FL that he only sees her as a friend and I feel Du Shik will say the same. The episode is going to end this way and then the long wait for next episode will start.😔
So I was listening to the OST which has not been officially released yet and there was a sentence in it that describes Du Shik's charcter to the T I feel. The sentence is 'I'm thirsty for love' (sounds way better in korean btw 😂). It got me thinking that since Du Shik had an unusual upbringing from what we know so far, he doesn't really know how to have a healthy relationship. He feels he has to be valuable to the other person so that person would love him and not leave him (and we already know he has abandonment issues). By doing all the work in neighbourhood he feels needed by people and hence according to him 'loved', hence we see him feel sidelined since everyone loves the PD. He also doesn't share his problems with anyone because he feels like he'll be a burden because in his mind he has to do all the work and not complain. After thinking all this I got so sad because that is such a tiring way to live. Your worth shouldn't be decided by how much you can do for others, you should be loved for who you are as a person with all your flaws and I think Du Shik doesn't realise that.
Waiting for the OST that was used in the recent epilogues of the drama, it's really good and heartbreaking 💔
Ikr! I've been listening to the fan edits and the accoustic version Choi yu ree sang on her ig live, was hoping they'd release it this week but no such luck 😕 Hopefully it'll be released next week!
What this episode showed us, was that Dusik despite always being in everyone else's business, despite being the…
I felt exactly the same way! Remember him asking Gamri grandma to give him food as well while she was giving it to JUNE or him cutting in between conversations of hyejin and sung hyun, it may look like he's joking but a lot of scenes in this episode showcase that he is very insecure about people forgetting him.
i've seen some theories about dusik actually had a wife and a child but lost it on accident. if this true, it's…
Also someone commented below that in one of the earlier episodes when Du Shik was cutting soap for the grandmothers Galmi grandma asked him to get married and have kids and judging from the hints that are given in the show she knows what happened to him while he was away, I don't think she would say such a thing to him if he had lost his wife and kid, that would be too cruel. I think either it must be his mom or the wife of one of his friends he lost ( remember the bloody hand he dreamed about? )

Although that is one of my favourite books, I really dont want the story to go in that direction and seeing the general atmosphere of the drama I don't think it'll go THAT dark.
Go watch fifty shades instead whinning your ass out 😩
Exactly! Its a decent show and the acting was also good but adding that scene at the end just came off as a bit awkward since you are potraying a couple that has been together for a long time and they kiss like that? They could have just ended it with them walking down the street holding hands and I would have been fine with it.

I can't understand how you equated me wanting a decent kiss scene (or none would have been fine with me as well) to watching fifty shades but go off I guess.😂
Lol did you only watch this for kissing scene not the story itself? Go watch neverthless instead dingus if you…
I don't understand why people are getting so pressed about the fact that you and I didn't like the kissing scene. Actually I think the person that replied to you and me might be the same person with different IDs.😂
There were some clichè scenes that made my soul cringe out of my body but overall its an average show 7/10. Like the commentator below I'd like to point out that the kiss scene was HORRENDOUS.
Du shik said the villagers indulge in harmless gossip and Hye jin should not be bothered about it, so I'm waiting for the day the villagers start gossiping about hye jin and sunbae and see how 'unbothered' Du shik would be about it. XD
Can someone tell me what Mr. Hong is hiding? I've seen it, but I don't remember it.
I watched the whole movie just to find out what happened in the three years he was away from home but nothing was revealed, its like they mentioned it once and then forgot about it. It was a giant plothole. XD
Th poet's name is Kim Haengsook.
I want to live in this drama and watch their cuteness firsthand.❤❤❤
The episode is going to end this way and then the long wait for next episode will start.😔
I'm sick and tired of listening to the fan edits😂😂
Looking forward to your insights as well!
Hopefully it'll be released next week!
