You pointed out what exactly i think it happened to the two half of 2Gether (i was so mad with what happened with their relationship, they killed the development done until then and what could have been a almost perfect series), and with the current series done by New. They ruined LBC2, not only by retelling their storyline, but by making the impression that they dind`t put much effort and passion in making this series compared to LBC 2, i mean the cinematography, editing and writing are worst and more careless than LBC1. In the case of MGYG, they had to make more than half of the series take place in high school, a thing that will not appeal to the more adult audience or the people tired of high school setting, especially if the events seems like are repetitive and are not bringing much to the development that it will happen in faculty. I think the story will get better starting when they get in faculty, but the fact that the first half has Lovesick vibes( and the quality is not much better than Lovesick) and they will not have enough time to give a realistic closure of the events and the couples, will not change. New almost alwasy gives an unsatisfying ending to his series. Many people do not know if/and when the characters from MGYG are moving to the present, to the faculty, and are dropping the series, and i can`t blame them. In the case of Oxygen, i watched the first episode and first half of the second episode, and i took a break and then i could not make myself to continue. My reason is that i couldn`t stand the main couple (the characters i mean, their personality comes as not interesting, and the story makes not sense) i did not see a natural chemistry between them, and the actors are not only bad at acting, they are like they are not even trying ( i mean, i know is their first time acting, and maybe they are indeed doing their best, but they are coming across as they don`t know what they are doing. The storyline is not helping either, it comes as immature and superficial sometimes. I usually watch a few more episodes before i am dropping a series, but with them, my intuition was telling me, that i won`t like them even if i keep watching the series.
sooo... right when they're about to enter uni you decide to drop it? LOL ok.. GJ getting to this point thoEdit:…
Thanks for the reply. I used to like Love Sick too, i watched the series when it was airing, and then Hormones, and i think MIR was the last i watched i think. When i watched MIR, i realised that i saw that the things that the characters experienced are gettting boring for me, that i don`t have patience anymore to see series that take place in this period. I realised that my taste started to change naturally after watching to many series set in the same setting and not getting surprised anymore. And because the years passed as well, i would not enjoy Lovesick as much as when i was watching it seven years ago, if i am watching the series now. I hope they will make as few as possible bl series that are taking place in high school, because usually these stories have a limit of how depth they can have, they can`t keep making bl series at the same level as Lovesick or MIR, because the competition from other coutries it is fiercer, we have other options now, will not be satisfied by anything they put on air. I`m bit content when the series are taking place in university, but i feel some series only use the setting without making the chracters feel like they are university students, like may as well the setting is taking place in high school, because it will not make a difference.
sooo... right when they're about to enter uni you decide to drop it? LOL ok.. GJ getting to this point thoEdit:…
The biggest change is because the production time choose to spend so many episodes for the flashbacks, many scenes was added that were not in the novel. Like all the scenes with Itt mom didn`t happen in this period in the novel, and it was not even described in detail in the novel, all the scenes with Pure and Wann didn`t exist in the flashbacks too, heck they didnd`t even know each other that much, before they meet each other in the faculty, they were nonexistent in the flashbacks, the friendship between the 4 of them didn`t happen until they meet again in the faculty. Because so many scenes were added between Pure and Wann, people started to ship the, and now have a hard time warming up to Pure and Folk, and i get sad when i read those comments. Wann don`t have that much presence in the novel, like in the series, the focus is Itt and Pai and Pure and Folk, Wann is just a common friend of Pai especially and a bit with Pure and appear only when they unite/have to do something together. The parents of Bai are not introduced now and the scary encouter of Pure with HIV as well. I mean i understand that adding these scenes assure depth to the plot, but why didn``t spent 1-2 episodes for the flashback and add some of these scenes in the faculty, because the characters are already more consistent and the things that happen between the characters are more easy to believe and see as such . I tend to not watch series that take place in high school because the characters are immature, incosistent in their decisions, don`t know for sure what they want, and because of that i can`t take the love stories that happen in this phase as serious. In my case, these seven episodes , because they present the life of the characters when they are this young can became hard to watch, it reminded me of when i was watching Lovesick, these episodes are catering/adressed more to teens, that of more divers groups of people, i hope you get what i mean. I just have a hard time taking the events that happens on the flashbacks as important or have a major impact for the future scenes that will happen in faculty. I still like the series, but i can`t help to ask myself that if they adapted the events more faithfully to the novel, or if they introduced the events happening in the faculty more earlier and they added only the important flashbacks between some events that happen in the faculty, would make the series be liked by more people. I am not sure if it some words can be considered spoilers so i put the reply in a spoiler in any case.

Coming for someone who has read the novel, the flashback period in the novel is not taking more than ten chapters, from a novel with 120+ chapters. That`s why i`m dissapointed, the production team has plenty of material to adapt, and the important stuff are taking place in uni and adult life, when they are showing a bit when they are working and how it affecting their relationship too. Only if they decide to make a 2 season, it justify a little spending so many episodes for the flashback period, but even if they plan to do that, for the persons that watch various bl series from different countries for many years, this decision is not an excuse for the chapters being dragging, and the writing not that good. I think , in this case, the series could have been much better if the writing was made more faithfully to the novel, the changes made are not that smart.
Dropping this. I'm sorry I really wanted to watch this but there's just too much flashback and montage. They could've…
If i wouldn't have been fascinated with the way Fiat is playing Pure, and because i like his chemistry with Folk, and i`m curious how well their story is writed and brought to life by Fiat and Un, i would have dropped it too.
7 episodes in and we’re finally introduced to Folk, who according to the trailer is Pure’s love interest.…
Yes, they are really cute. Folk is a decent actor, he appeared in 2- 3 scenes only, but for his expressions and body language i can tell what kind of personality he has. And his chemistry with Pure is really good, i am surprised how good it is. The contrast between their personalities is what he makes this couple click well and have their own charm.
They might have overdid the montage, it seemed to go on and on forever.
Yes. I was really annoyed by these scenes, and the slow pacing of all the episodes. I don`t know what happened behind the scenes, but all the series that New has directed ( like UWMA and even in season 1 of LBC, and LBC ss2) has many episodes that are dragging or scenes that are added. but are not necessary. And it is not seems that anything has changed. These are the little things that are lowering the quality of his series, because the casting of the actors, their chemistry are well done, it is like he has an eye for it, and the acting it is not the best, but is okay. I feel the things mentioned and the script (the writing in all the series directed by New are problematic, far from being realistic or too unique, and can be a turn off for some people) are not helping too. I am dissapointed by thai bl series lately, it is like the quality of directing, cinematography has improved, but the problem is they keep adapting bad quality novels, and even when they are good, the writers are not capable to add/ make changes to the plot for the events/dialogues to flow more naturally, and make them less cringy or easy to imagine that can happen in real life. I mean, 30sai made Dotei dato Mahotsukai ni Narerurashii is 25 minutes long at best and is adapted very faithfully after a manga, but they managed to change some scenes and make the succesion of scenes flow well, every episodes has few scenes but from those scenes i can figure it out so many things in 2 episodes, that are taking 7 episodes in this series. The only thai series at the moment when the bl couple/s are well writed, tought, and are not dragging is FRIENDZONE, season 2, and because it is not a bl series only, the scenes where they appear are shared equally with the other straight couples, but the series it is still worth to watch, because is so well done.
Anybody know the name of the novel on which the drama is based.....where i can read it eng translation version
https://www.wattpad.com/story/241769501-my-gear-and-your-gown- This is the best translation i come across but is not the best. But is the only that has many chapters translated and the updates are frequent. They are two more translations of the novel in wattpad- but they are a the beginning, with only 2-3 chapters translated and these translations are not better.
I was so relieved when Earth didn't say a word when he found Stud outside his door, and simply sat next to him…
When is read some comments in youtube from the last episode, someone wrote that the cast said in an interview that Earth is the worst character this season. I to think that is possible for Earth to make some radical changes in his life this season, and finally show his true colors, which i don`t mean that i want him to turn bad, but he is showing only his kind, patient. trying to be forgiving side. It is impossible that he don`t have selfish desires or getting fed up to being wronged, and i want to see that, to see the real Earth, who do what he wants, without caring who he will hurt in the process.

The relationship between Boom and Tor really makes not sense and it brings the worst part of each other. In my opinion, they suit each other ever less than Sam and Earth. And Tor is not even a decent guy most of a time, is a really asshole, i don`t know how Boom stayed with him until now. Boyo and Good is not much better, but at least Good has common sense and respect BOYO as a person, but something is off with him too. All the relationships in this show is messed up, but this is what makes this series different from others,

We don`t know yet if he properly confessed his feelings, but Earth do knows that Stud used to like him, from season 1, when Stud said that he pursued Earth in the past, but to what extent their entanglement was in the past went we don`t know yet. My suspicion is that, or they slept together, if that scene of them sleeping together from the trailer happened in the past and then Earth decided to not pursue a relationship between them after ( but i find this posibility is less likely, because i don`t think they manage to stay friends until know if they sleept together, and Sam entered the picture already, and he has to resolve the thing with Boom too. Or Stud did something else to hint to Earth that he likes him, and Earth was clear that he did not like him.

I think Bew is a extremely messed`up person even from before he was in faculty. I can guess how her manipulative comportament only get worse and she became the kind of person that manipulates everyone around her to get what she wants. And i think she lying all the time started from she was very young, maybe because people never taking her serious and find her attractive, and she developed a low esteem in herself, or even ended up hating herself and that period of his life when she was in faculty, and she wants to destroy the life of everyone who hurt her or knew her at that time.. She has became so toxic probably because she figure it out the hard way, that the only way she can get what she wants is by using/manipulating. Boyo is to forgiving, i will never allow such person to be part of my personal life if i was in Boyo shoes.
I was so relieved when Earth didn't say a word when he found Stud outside his door, and simply sat next to him…
I am worried too about how Stud can make Earth trust him after all that happened, if Earth take a interest in Stud after all. It will not be easy, but everything is possible with this show, i am hoping for some mindblowing and shocking writing.
It's more complicated than that though. They've been togher for so long and Earth is truly IN love with Sam. Yes,…
You really put well in words how i feel about Sam and Earth. They are not suited for each other, i could feel that from before the cheating. Sam is too confortable, he is giving his relationship with Earth just enough attention and focus so that Earth has not right to complain, because he is sure Earth loves him. Is frustrating seeing how Earth is being the only one planning things for them to do, and conforming with the situation just because Sam is busy all the time. He is busy, but he is not putting much effort to be with Earth when he has to see him. I feel because they are so different, and therefore they don`t have fights when it should happen, untold words will pilled up and from then on, it depends how much Earth can hold up until he will break.
I was so relieved when Earth didn't say a word when he found Stud outside his door, and simply sat next to him…
I am happy when i see that i am not the only one that is thinking like that. Like sometimes i feel like i am reading too much in every action, that i am afraid that i am seeing things. It is still to early to make assumptions about who will survive/get together with who, in the final episodes . I wish i started the season after it ended, i am having a hard time waiting from one episode to the next one. This season is definitely better like the first one, the writing is better, it make me anticipate about what can happen in the next episode. In this season we are seeing real character development and the characters will not be satified to remain with the current partners just because they are in that relationship for many years. Good or Safe, Tor, Sam or Stud will have to work harder if they don``t want to be dumped or if they want to get what they want (for Stud and Safe).
I love this show soo much! This second season is a pure gem. I wouldn't rewatch the first Friend Zone, but I would…
YES, i am feeling the same, for now it seems like Earth is content with Sam, even through that conversation with Ton is give the impression that he cheated Earth several time in his relationship with him. But, if he changed now, i guess it don`t matter anymore. The thing i noticed is that their relatioship at this moment seems a bit forced, strained, like the things they are doing now are to preserve what they had before, hoping like everything will became like before if they endure for enough time. I hope it works for them in the end, but if they are not careful enough, they will find that they not know each other anymore, or that what they have are not enough anymore . I love the character of Stud, i have a friend like him, and they are so easy to get along with others, and treats everything and everyone without thinking too much. I am with you, i only wish for Stud to figure out his feelings, and to make sense of what he wants, and if he finds out that he wants EARTH, i hope he wil be sincere in his pursuing, or loving him for afar, because that is the only way he will have a chance with Earth.
its in the novel. Pure and Waan are only close friends along with the other 3 in the novel. I guess the problem…
Yes, i find the novel really interesting and one of the more realistic thai novel i read, because if i take out the romantic cliches, the strong points of the novel is the focus in character development, we can see the characters learn their lessons, grow, is like they are real people. Another strong point is the novel tell the lives of the characters in different stage of life, we get description of their middle school life, then from the faculty and from their adult life. I was a bit dissapointed when i realised that New is making so many episodes that are taking place before the characters are in the faculty, because in the novel, that period is described just from time to time, the most interesting and important things that happen it is in when they are in faculty. But i still trust New, he has a very good instinct when it comes to cast actors that not only resemble their characters i the novel he is adapting, they have good chemistry, and he knows how to guide them to act naturally. Every one of his project feel real, and make me connect to his stories. I suspect that maybe he choosed to tell the story this way, because he already planned to make a season two, like what happened to LBC and UWMA, or things are happening more quickly starting for episode 7, like how it happened with the episode 7 from LBC 2. And with Wann and Pure, in my case before i start a bl series, i always search until i know for sure who are the couples or who are more likely to end up together, so i will not ship the wrong people. In the case of Pure and Wann i think they are getting so much screentime together, because the actors are experienced and good at acting, so New have them do the scenes that are more challenging or can make a more bigger impression. And, maybe is only me, but i don`t see any chemistry between Fiat and JJ, between the characters yes, is not impossible to imagine them together, but even then i am not sure.
They are two more translations of the novel in wattpad- but they are a the beginning, with only 2-3 chapters translated and these translations are not better.
