Since she found no problem in trying to end the pregnancy at 7 months then she is clearly not fit o be mother. I'm glad she abandoned the children. They are probably better off with their dad. People saying "there is nothing wrong with surrogacy" clearly don't know the whole story. Whatever a guy did to you has got nothing to do with the life of an innocent baby YOU CHOSE to bear.
Truly became a favorite! Just finished watching and everything about this series is perfection!! I'm kind of mad I put off watching it for so long. The reason being the trailer that to me screamed "cringe" cause of the overuse of the crystal ball but boy was I wrong. The time travel aspect was present but it was placed very skillfully and only in early episodes. Now onto the drama itself. I'm honestly surprised at how much I was able to feel for and relate to Kawi. From the get go I realized this is more about just regretting not hitting on an old crush. this series takes us through a journey of redemption and salvation. Kawi is the typical shy and timid that barely got just live and when he got a second chance to do things over, reality came crashing. The more he tries to correct his past mistakes the more he realizes that not just his circumstances but most importantly he and his way thinking was the real problem. He was truly on a journey of self discovery in every single aspect. I loved how Piseang never judged Kawi for what he showed of him and just tried to make him see things differently and more positively. I think that was the catalysis to Kawi opening up and being himself without restraint. Piseang's character truly was one of my fav of the show. He was confident without being arrogant and was overall strong positive easygoing and stayed true to himself all throughout. He made his feelings come across when he realized them while still respecting the boundaries Kawi set and remained by his side as his friend. That's my man right there! Well I wish... One thing I'd say is Kawi was a tad bit annoying at times when he didn't act like his real age but I put that in the "trying too hard to change things" section. Also Piseang at times was being a total pushover but I put that in the "being a fool for love" section. The other characters ware also a real treat. And there was no real villain despite Knot acting like his trashy ass self. Only downside was not seeing more of Max story. Except that, every single character was complex and relatable in their own way, even the parents. I applaud the writers and the ones who chose this cast cause all the members were absolutely AMAZING and the chemistry on point not to mention the story is hella original. Finally a series of year 2023 worthy of my time. And it will undoubtedly go on top of my list as one of my favorites.
I Never said Sam should choose Mon over her family. My point is she should at the very least be honest with Kirk…
I watched from ep 1 till the end of ep 9 where i dropped. I understand some viewers wanting to see things only from mc pov so let's just say we see things differently in this case. :)
At least watch the whole series before writing a review. Sam not being able to choose mon over her family is the…
I Never said Sam should choose Mon over her family. My point is she should at the very least be honest with Kirk about her feelings. I don't care what she tells her family but she owes the dude that much considering how kind he is to her. I'm not sure what their relationship status is whether it be friendly lovers or pretend lovers or just lovers but they are CLEARLY not on the same page.
Honestly I put off watching this series cause of the trailer and how it kept showing someone constantly going back in time and I was like....uuuugh! I thought it seemed a little cringe but seeing the hype in the comment and reviews I now can't wait to watch this. Fingers crossed it won't be a waste time!
Okay now they've done it. Btw dropped this at chapter 9 as I couldn't handle the frustration anymore. I thought Sam would've cleared up the air with Kirk by then. I like Sam and Mon together but I low key started disliking Sam. I mean lets be real she clearly is the two timer here and her reactions at times just made her look like a hypocrite. Sam and Mon are cute together but I feel sorry for Kirk who seems genuinely in love Sam who is just leading him on. I read somewhere that Kirk was the antagonist and well good for him. Sam deserves whatever comes her way but I wont stick around to watch. Im not into ntr so Imma just drop this here. What a waste of a good story! smh!
Imo This drama played in two parts: the first 7 episodes and the remaining 18 starting from episode 8. The first part for me were just sooo boring I almost dropped it ngl. Plus I just kept wondering WHY?? Like WTF? Why would they choose a young actress that looked like she was 8 to play the part of someone who's 14. Whatever kind of messed up choice is that? So not to mention how uninteresting the first few episodes were, I was also pretty uncomfortable watching young Sang Zhi looking like she's 6 interact and be smitten with an already adult Duan. Then came the second part at episode 8 and it couldn't come fast enough. From there the pace picked up pretty nicely. Even if it was slow burn it became enjoyable and entertaining. Because the chemistry between the leads were so great. And to my surprise considering a few other reviews I read, I thought SZ were really mature throughout the whole show even in the beginning. And I loved how naturally the relationship of SZ and DJX evolved. I mean it wasn't just an out of the blue moment that lead to the two of them getting together. It was very well built up and brought up. I loved SY as a character too and the whole cast just did amazing. Overall I enjoyed watching this drama. But I have to say it's unlikely I'll watch it again and if I ever do I'll definitely start from episode 8. If not for the first part I would've gladly given this show a 9 or a 10 but I guess a decent 8 will just have to do.
Dropped at episode 2! This series is a huge red flag! I know it should to be taken lightly but c'mon! I hope nobody finds what's happening here acceptable. No school has the right to force their students into posting online content even more so when it's fake. I know that chancellor or whatever is meant to be exuberant but this isn't ok just like Mek's behavior in the first episode was despicable. The fact that this series is normalizing bullying and making it seem funny is disgusting. While I tried I've had enough so I'm dropping this smh !
Still can't believe I didn't drop this ! I'll start with the things I didn't like so I can end this on a good note. I'll start with... It literally took me 3 episodes to get hooked into the story. Why? Because I thought the series was over after only the first episode and was wandering what else was left. It's like knowing what's wrapped in a present before you even open it. After the first episode The only question left to answer was "how will Gun fall for Tinn?" cause it's already known and shown that Tinn is so whipped (I mean dude u have no idea). Honestly The only reason I went on was because I thought maybe there were more to the story than that (it's GMM after all)... but nope NOTHING! The episodes felt soooo long and at the 6th or 7th I could swear there wasn't much left but the plot just kept on dragging some more smh. How did I get through?? Simple the things I liked... THE CAST! The chemistry and acting of this cast is one of the best I've ever seen. And can I just give a round of applause to "the parents"? They were so good and I was so excited and looking forward to see them in every episode. I also really liked how healthy the relationship between TinnGun was. Fr had they not sold the main point right from the get go I would've been more invested in their couple. They were cute but that's it. They were cute in every single episode so not much there to feed on. It wasn't all bad but I won't be watching this again.
Mmh I liked Star way better. I was still hyped from it when I started watching Sky so I was really looking forward to it but I admit I just found the story boring at times. And although it's just 8 episodes I think it could've been shorter than that considering that not much was really happening half way through. And all that drama towards the end just felt like extra fillers to me since I already lost interest at that point. Watching Sky I kept thinking that there were no real need to split the two series and that this story could've just been added with less episodes to the first one and it would've been great. Sure I can't say it was bad but... I definitely won't be watching it again! The one thing I really wanna applaud though is the chemistry between the cast members and not just the leads. I was really digging Mesa and JJ moments and that girl (can't remember her name) just cracked me up. Hope to see more of every one in another drama.
I completely agree with you.. The first 9 episodes were all about Cake taking care of Seeiw as a friend. It looked…
Totally!!! I hate it when till the end I still have to take a guess at a characters feelings. I was hoping they would show some flashbacks from Cake or even just have Seeiw ask him when did his feelings for him change but we got absolutely nothing. Nada! What a let down smh!
I wish there were more bl series like this one. No toxicity, no fake friends, no complicated story line, just pure love. Kluen is the coolest cutest dumbest character there is. Joong's acting was on point and he really stole the show. The overall vibe felt like a slice of life and the emotions portrayed were so realistic. The story was short which imo made it even better since the plot weren't dragging and each episode fulfilled its purpose. I actually couldn't get enough of the main couple's happy time when it ended. And not just Joong but the entire cast did so well in their roles. I mean I could tell what every single character was feeling right at first glance. And since they didn't give anything away about the side couple I'm really looking forward to watching their story in the second season. I usually don't like side couple' spinoffs cause they show so much about them in the main story that I could already guess the rest so getting only a few hints here and there this time around came as a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I was able to watch such a good show. This one will definitely be in my favorites of all time.
I'm so confused!! I usually love a good slice of life and I did enjoy this drama but only from around like episode 7 or something. The first part for me was just so boring that I almost dropped the whole thing. The one thing that kept me going was the chemistry between the leads. Imo the editing was poorly done and instead of 14 long episodes a solid 8 or 10 episodes would've been better suited. Also with all the unnecessary scenes from the first half It would've been nice seeing more of Cake's POV cause we only got to see Seeiw's which to me was a downside. For example the most basic question which is "When did Cake realize his feelings for Seeiw?" was left unanswered. I kept wandering till the end how Cake went from being heartbroken over his breakup to being in love with his childhood friend. Would've been nice to know. All in all I guess it's a pretty decent series although it didn't exactly deliver as promised. It wasn't the best but it was still enjoyable.
Can't believe this. It started so well but the ending ruined everything. I don't mind sad endings but this one just felt rushed and was poorly done. Then they tried to coax us with 14mn of a supposedly happy ending we don't know where it came from. That being said the acting in this drama (specially from the ml) was just stellar!!!! The whole cast was amazing! Well done!! PS: I'll just go back to watching Love & Redemption and pretend this one never happened. It's almost all the same actors anyway.
This drama is confusing on so many levels. I was really into it at first until they showed Dongyue younger self. considering she is the FL seeing Wen Xin so close with the ML and specially the SML was really uncomfortable. Also am I the only one bothered by the fact that both Dongyue and Wen Xin are in the same timeline? I mean Wen Xin is gonna grow up and look EXACTLY like Dongyue since they are the same person. And so what then? Will Wen Xin go and marry Pang Yu while her older self is with Pang Xi?
If you pay attention there is a HUGE AGE GAP!! And I'm not into grooming so... Would've been better if they found a way to converge the two or never bring Wen Xin up in the first place. Anyway this was just so messed up and such a waste of time!!
The only good point imo was the acting. The entire cast did a good job despite a sloppy story and I'm glad I got to see the main male actor not playing a villlain for once. he did great! I hope I'll see more of him in ml roles.
Sigh!! I'm still disappointed cause I REALLY liked it in the beginning 😐😐
I really don't get people's reaction about the ml. I think both ml and fl did great and had a great chemistry. I've read down the comments section about rumors going around the ml but I honestly don't care. Imo this is very good drama minus the part where the sml turn worse. The acting was great and the main couple evolution felt natural. Yup a good drama to watch!!
