This is the kind of sweet sweet mini drama with a very simple plot. Almost like something you would expect from a children's book? Their world is always good. Leads have good chemistry (7/10), ML is not an asshole, FL is super cute, sometimes quite blur. Acting wise is good too, if you go by a small drama project kinda standard, the whole drama is not over 7 hours, you can finish it in one day, sets and scenes are neat and refreshing.
Take it as a drama snack, maybe a getaway from watching some heavy-topic dramas.
I will try this drama. I think it is a remake of fated to love you? and the Taiwanese drama You're my destiny.…
I think if you buy the rights you're allowed to use the story, but i guess the Chinese version changed it is because the Chinese government doesn't wanna "promote" getting pregnant before marriage kinda thing, anyhow this is only my assumption.
Thought i might give cdramas a try after watching a few kdramas...god that was a terrible first episode -_- I…
ahhhhh please don't give up on Cdramas! Here's a personal recommendation list too: Love O2O: A sweet campus couple drama, both leads are smart and are video gamers My Amazing Boyfriend: Similar plot to the kdrama but as the drama progresses, its different I promise My Sunshine: One of my personal favourites, but I don't think you will like this kind of plot tho... but please do check the synopsis before dropping Tientsin Mystic: Detective drama (X-files vibes) set in the 20th century, this is a must watch! Medical Examiner, Dr. Qin (the first one): Detective drama, main lead is a forensic doctor The Dark Lord: This has quite a complicated plot to be summarized within one sentence, but its the kind of rare drama that emphasizes fighting against government corruption. However this drama does not have an ending yet. Put your head on my shoulder: Sweet campus couple drama Le Coup de Foudre: Another personal favourite, romance drama, friendship, family, siblings are equally important in this drama too!
I don't know about this. In the Thai movie, I feel like you could really see her grow not only beautiful but also…
This is why i don't like remakes turning movie into a drama, because you need to add alot of unnecessary plots. The original Thai movie is perfect and such a bomb, and i cried so much while watching that movie. Following your crush to the same uni is not a bad choice IF the uni has a course that you want to study, remember Troy Bolton from HSM3 chose a university that offers him basketball and theater AND is close to Gabrielle 's university, I mean you gotta stay close to your crush righttt?
Anyways I'm not defending this drama, I haven't even watch the trailer, but maybe if you want to , you could take this drama as a whole new story that maybe just referenced the characters and plots from the Thai movie, that would make more sense and decrease the disappointment? I mean Cdrama have perks in making lovey-dovey high-school dramas, and i think the casts are quite young which is appropriate for the story plot.
Drama withdrawal syndrome is real :( at one point I got up at 7am when the new eps were uploaded just to watch…
its been one week since i finished watching it (i understand chinese w/o subs), and i'm still stuck in this drama, can't stop thinking about it everyday, i watch their interviews, behind the scenes etc to keep myself 'alive'
I'm just wondering how are they going to turn an approximately 2 hours + movie into a 35 episodes drama? How much stories are they going to add in it??
Y'all that are hesitating whether to watch ornot, this drama gets better after ep3! Very bubbly drama, you'll get satisfied by their squishy-mushy scenes~ Story plot was ok, not big plot holes, a very light drama for you if you're not really into deep topic dramas. I would say "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" was better but this one is addicting, worth watching tho! OST are amazing too!
If y'all hesitating whether to watch this or not, wait for all the episodes to finish broadcasting first then only start. If you think 41 episodes is too much, so far i'm on ep16 and the story is not that draggy, and i think they have enough materials to fill the future episodes~ so far so good right now
goshhh i rlly wanna watch this for yang zi but i cannot stand hu yi tian :///
Don't watch it so early, wait for at least a week before watching, or you'll be like me, eagerly (dying) waiting for the next episode to come out ... its a torture!
Disappointed, this drama had a great start, but it gets boring and the plot becomes weird. And since i personally do not like Lee Dong Gun, so Shin Hye Sun is the only person worth praising to me. I think the biggest problem is the story plot, the storyline is not strong enough, much repetition and too many issues in the drama left me hanging.
