Liked first episode, Kang Ha Neul's comedic timing is so perfect. ML is pure asshole but he is really funny and not in an over the top way. I am hoping more from GMS's character in terms of comedy. Hope they keep the story simple without any office politics and childhood trauma. Really glad to see Hong Hwa Yeon here, I hated how she was treated in Buried Hearts, hope she gets decent amount of screentime and lovable character.

Loved episode 10, everything was just great. OIY fell first but DW fell harder and now dude is just utterly in love with her. Really liked all their cute and cheesy moments, the way OIY shys and smiles is so cute. Good to see KSB having very much a character growth and act as a normal human rather than a robot. The other two woman professors were great, I really loved their friendship and how it parallels in some ways with OIY and PNG. The cameo was amazing I was just smiling the whole time when they appeared. And the last 10 minutes were pure wholesome and shocking as well. I face was hurting so much because I was smiling so much in this episode. Hope PNG gets more screentime, I think she is the only member now who haven't got more important arcs in comparison to others in the second half of the drama.
Looking forward to next two final episode.

Oh Yi Young's smile is precious, it needs to be protected. I was smiling throughout the last scene. Really glad DW's actual confession was really simple and the way OYY smiled and hugged him. Dude is really lucky.

UJI and KSB, I was not expecting that, especially KSB being fan of his group and the dance, that was most unexpected scene. KSB definitely has a crush on him and it's a huge one.

I think UJI handled the intern situation in a really matured way even though I think some scolding or consequences would have been more satisfying but UJI being just a very nice guy her did great. I also liked his friendship and partnership with that senior doctor, they are very much similar.

KSB apologizing DH was really good to see, she has changed a lot, she is more sympathetic towards people and also know what she did was wrong. Her teasing DH and her friends makes her more likable, she is coming out of her shell.

OYY, I just love her, anything she does is either wholesome or funny, there is no inbetween. Really loved how she is saving for her future niece/nephew. That bitch Myung needs to get hit by the white truck of doom, it's so frustrating to watch. Not only she is a bad person she also is a bad doctor.

PNG need to have more screentime, she as much interesting character as others. Really loved her talk with OYY and how she just tore up OYY's resignation letter. Hope she has more to do in next episodes.

These were the cameo that I was not expecting but was smiling when I saw U Ju's father in law. I don't know who that camerawomen with them was.

She is really good in Moving and Law School as well.

How's the romance? Any love triangles?
No love triangle. Romance is so and so. The two main leads are just good people. I don't find the second couple any good, they are just boring and felt forced.

Episode 8 was okish for me, felt bored sometimes. PNG, her mom and the other three had really good interactions, love PNG and her relationship with her mom, it's just very normal, no angst issues, just a normal mother - daughter dynamics. KSB was hilarious and I think she has a thing for UJI for some reason.

Really glad that this episode was more focused on other residents rather than OIY. Good to see that there is no love triangle and OIY is savage and straight forward with her answers as always. I sort of lost interest in OIY's sister and her husband, it was really emotional but now just feels like a drag.

Only four episodes left and really excited what the writer and director have for their audience. Hoping for more wholesome and heartfelt scenes and less of that bitch Dr. Myung.

There is a disease called SLS, in KC dramas, SML breathing the same air as FL is enough for them to route them,…
He not a SL though, he is like a guest actor.

Really loved episode 7. Had everything I wanted except for that last scene, I don't think there is a need for love triangle in a SoL drama. DW really needs to make up his mind because OIY is one in a million, any guy would be lucky to be with her.

My favourite scene was when Go Yoon Jung was trying to speak english, it was so funny, especially that "Don't worry, I am a famous doctor", it has me cracking. The delivery scene also showed how far she has come.

I really felt bad for PNG's ex bf, he seems like a really nice guy but she always took him for granted thinking he would come back to here no matter what. It was really good to see her cry because it showed the viewers that she really cared for him and liked him even though she didn't acted that way towards him.

Other two didn't had that much screentime, I loved KSB and OIY working together, UJI standing up for himself and destroying the others with facts and stats was really good to watch.

Dr Seo and that other man doctor are really likable, I love them when they interact with the juniors.

Cameos really made my day, Ik Sun and Chi Hong bringing their friendship energy with the throwback to that pigeon thing the Ik siblings do.

Looking forward to next episodes. Hoping we don't get any unnecessary angst and love triangle.

Tbh it’s the first time I knew that muscle weight more than fat. I hope this drama can introduce us to more…
I know. I loved all the body facts and it was really fun the way he was telling them. and yup there was no body shaming from his part, all things he said are facts and a normal doctor or anyone who is health conscious will tell you that.

Good episode. The only thing I hated was the screaming, it was way too much even for an over the top drama. ML is just way to funny, that song at the start with his ex gf had me laughing. FL is fine, it's been years since I have watched Eun Ji, she was really good in Reply 1997, my least favourite Reply series but still one of the top drama for me. Glad to see her here now. Hoping for less screaming and more comedy with little bit of romance here and there.

Damn. 1% is like extremely low for any drama nowadays. Maybe it's doing well on OTT in other countries?
That's really bad. I remember Gaus Electronics sort of similar drama having very less tv ratings but was doing okay on OTT also that drama was really good.

I've just seen that this is the first kdrama and lead role for actress "Han Ye Ji". We agree 99% of the time it's…
From the interview with the creator (Shin PD), she gave an audition and was selected, she was the only one that was locked for that role among the other main leads. He said that himself, I don't know if it's true or not but I choose to believe that a reputable person like himself won't just go for anyone.

Another good episode, can't say it was the best because I got frustrated and bored few times. I really liked KSB and PNG's quarreling, it was really funny and I love it when Shin Shi Ah makes cute faces. Glad to see UJL being confident and responsible, great to watch OIY doing something unexpected again.

That evil credit stealing bitch really needs to go or someone should atleast punch her in her wicked face, she is getting way more screentime than needed and it's is turning this drama into a soap opera. As for KDW I don't like him that much now. I mean he has guts to stand up for OIY in front of professors, can scold the residents and tell them what they did wrong but he doesn't have balls to call out that bitch even once. There is line between being a pushover and pathetic and he seems like a pathetic person to me. Hats off to OIY for standing up to that bitch, she could walk over his body with pointy nailed heels and he still won't do anything. Just pathetic man, I really feel sorry for him.

That last scene between KSB and PNG was really funny. OIY getting confident every day and straight up cursing was hilarious to watch. Go Youn Jung has a really beautiful and captivating smile, she can make any guy fall for her. I still don't think KDW is having feelings for her but maybe this side of her may have taken his attention.

I really hope they do focus on the other four main characters and not just OIY, I love her and she is my favourite but we really don't know that much about others in comparison to hers. The song in the end was really good. Looking forward to next episodes.

Do we need to watch Hospital Playlist in order to watch this drama?
Nope. There are cameos from Hospital Playlist but you don't really need to know them here.

@skyfleurette and @GwenchanaGwenchana Please correct me if I am wrong... I think this show (Resident Playlist)…
Not better than HP. HP opened with 6%+ ratings and second season with 10%+. The ratings of HP were in double digits from episode 5 and and always double digits for second season. In ratings comparison RP is nowhere near HP. HP also ended with 14%+ ratings for both the season were the viewers were more than 3.5 millions for last episodes. For RP the latest episode seems to get around 1.5 million which is a lot less than HP. There are 6 more episodes left so definitely the ratings and viewership will increase but I don't think it will reach anywhere near what HP had.

But if you are talking about RP on its own then it's doing good, the ratings are constantly increasing and it's no. 1 for it's timeslot. It's also among top non english series on Netflix chart and no. 1 in many countries. It was also ranked 2nd or 3rd (i don't remember) among the buzzworthy dramas for the week(it was for it's premier week). So popularity is definitely there.

As for second season, I am not sure, if they want it purely on the basis of viewership then it's is popular enough (much more popular than recent tvN dramas) to have a second season.
Replying to GwenchanaGwenchana Apr 27, 2025
Yup. It is tagged as Limited Series by netflix meaning it is one season done drama even though it's popular on…
No worries. Might be my weak english.
