Loved episode 3 but I really hope they keep the whole business angle at minimum. The comedy scenes were really funny and the emotional scenes were heart wrenching. The leads have great chemistry together.
Looking forward to next episodes.

PS: Won Jin Ah looks extremely beautiful here.

Good second episode. For a melo this drama is much lighthearted. I think they should show something from the FL perspective so we will have an idea that if she also heartbroken like him.

Wow. First episode was really great. It had comedy, romance, many cute moments and a look into the lead's life, mostly the FL. I am loving both the leads here. The ML is giving me Park SeRo Yi vibes from Itaewon Class, he is simple minded but optimistic. The FL is also like So Ah from Itaewon class. They have a great chemistry together. Also the Melo part isn't that intense, it's less dramatic and a bit more emotional to a certain level. It also gave me Our Beloved Summer vibes and I am really digging it.

I wish the episode was s bit more longer. I really looking forward to next episodes.
Won Ji An is so beautiful here, especially in her past scenes. I mean how can a guy not fall for her.

Also for those who are not going to watch this because of the comments made here, I suggest that you atleast give few episodes a try and then decide for yourself. I did the same.

I loved it. First eight episodes were funny then things got really serious later. Both leads did a great job, especially Lee Chae Min, his emotional scenes were on just another level. Yoona's comedic performance was a delight to watch, she has improved so much. The chemistry between the leads was amazing.

The highlights for me definitely were the cooking and eating. It was great to watch how the dishes were made, their origin, some history and the story behind them. The eating reactions were just as enjoyable to watch, people losing themselves in the taste of delicious cuisines.

Last four episodes were very angsty. There were lighthearted moments but the painful moments were in abundance. I found the aftermath of what happened in the past satisfying yet there was something more they should have done.

I loved the ending. I just smiled while watching the last scene. I just wish we could have gotten answered to few questions and few more moments between the leads. It felt like they cut few scenes between them because of the run time.

Overall it's a really good drama if not the best. The leads are amazing and they have great chemistry together. The villains will make you angry and the leads will make you root for them. You will laugh, smile and feel sad while watching this. But in the end it's worth it, the ending sequence is beautiful and heartfelt.

I liked it for most of the parts. The leads are great actors and have a great chemistry between them. The two main lead characters are very likable as well and you will always want to root for them. The action is amazing and the villian was great till last episode, I didn't like the villain's motivation, it felt like a main bad guy from James Bond or Mission Impossible movies. Overall it was a great watch even if the last two episodes felt underwhelming. 9/10 for me mostly because of how good the actors were and the story being very engaging till last two episodes.

Mandatory PS : Jun Ji Hyun looks really beautiful and sexy here. Loved her watching in suits with a commanding presence.

Again two great episodes with amazing acting and chemistry between the leads. I love how fast pacing this is with twists keep coming. The action scenes were also amazing especially the elevator fight scene. KDW is doing a great job as a man of action. JJH speaking with anyone can melt the viewers. She has that smoothness in her voice and expressions.

That's how a kissing scene should be, intense, passionate. It was really hot, the conversation inbetween was also touching. JJH and KDW have really great chemistry .
Looking forward to next episodes.

PS: JJH looks really beautiful and hot here. She has aged so well.

I loved most of it but it seems like the writer wants to make the FL suffer more and more with each episode. I am really not that much caring for the ML as we really don't know much about him.

Both leads have great chemistry but I think the romance should be around episode 7-8 for a 9 episode drama. The mother in law and Kang Hanna are really annoying and I really hope they suffer for being bitches.

It's a good drama for most of the parts. But they really need to explore the ML's story now. I like this political tension and also there is some realism there when it comes to geopolitics and international affairs.

Looking forward to next episodes.

So now that it's finished airing, does the last 2 episodes have romance between the main leads?
Not really. Few minutes of last episode have hinted a little though.

Another Great episode and good case. The leads have a really great chemistry together. The way they speak with eachother is very comforting and easy to watch.

The office politics plot was really unnecessary, it was just to fill up the time/scenes. The whole case was really boring and that Seok Hun’s mentor felt very forced in the whole situation. I was hoping that they would focus on the other people from his team but they didn't and it was disappointing.

The ex wife was the most annoying character of all. I hated her, didn't know why they would bring her again and again. She always played the victim card, gaslighting him, making him feel worthless and a bad guy. She was just a bitch.

Jung Chae Yeon did an amazing job. She has improved so much over the years and this character suited her very well. Lee Jin Wook also did a good job, he has been in many great things so it was good to see him here as well.

Obligatory PS: Jung Chae Yeon looks really beautiful and hot here. Loved her in suits.

Wow. First two episodes were really good. I thought it would be a sad, sobbing drama but it's actually a really hopefully one. All the leads are very likable and the chemistry between SJK and CWH is amazing. Also the young actors playing them are amazing, good looking and perfect acting. I am looking really forward to next episodes.

Okish episode 9 and 10. The ML was had screentime less than the secondary characters. I wish they would focus more on the care and the court room like the first half of the drama did. All this office politics and side relationship are sort of boring for me. I hope last two episodes are bangers.

Another good episode. It was much more emotional compared to previous ones. Really glad that YSH finally moved on and loved how KHY comforted him, it was like she is the grown up and he is the rookie.

Again the case was unique and involved many humane elements. I really don't like the office politics that much. As for romance, so far I only see friendship and appreciation between them.

Fuck his ex wife. Hope she is not shown in the future episodes now. This episode really made me hate her. Great to see the ML finally finding his balls and saying fuck you to her(not literally).

I really loved the friendship between the YSH, LJU and HMJ. The romance between LJU and HMJ seems to be going forward so is their friendship.
Looking forward to next episodes.

Obligatory PS: JCY looks really beautiful and hot here. Her acting is amazing and she is really great at comedy and dramatic scenes.

Another Great episode, interesting case and it's resolution, great acting and chemistry but the director have to make the ML's story movie forward now. In this week's episodes he felt like a supporting character rather than the main, they really need to give him the lead, he is the senior and experienced lawyer.
The last scene is just to throw us off,.the woman will be some random person that needs the ML's help legally, that's it. Looking forward to next episodes.

Obligatory PS: Jung Chae Yeon looks really beautiful and hot. She is doing great in this role and she has improved a lot.

Good episode, good case, great chemistry and very likable main characters. Loving this very much. The tv ratings are good and increasing, overall everything about this is great. Looking forward to next episodes.
Jung Chae Yeon is really beautiful and her acting has improved a lot. Rooting for her.

Okish episode. The pacing was slow and some scenes felt out of the place. There were many good moments especially between the two leads. I am loving their back and forth very much. Also the main case was actually good to watch. Liked the cameo and the relationship unfolding. There was less food and gathering as compared to last two episodes. Also it looks like that there is no bad guy here. I didn't liked the last scene, it threw away the wholesome and heartfelt vibes of the show. Looking forward to next episodes.
On Law and the City Jul 9, 2025
I liked both episodes. So far only the ML character has been fleshed others are mostly just there. MGY is really beautiful and looks really hot in suits. LJS is doing really good job with us character. I am really liking the ML, he is just doing his job, he thinks logically and think of the whole picture, also he is not two goody nosey like many "good guys" are portrayed in Kdramas. Both the main leads have really great chemistry. Loved all the food they were eating and it felt really normal, just friends eating, talking and goofing around. Looking forward to next episodes. Hope they don't add some unnecessary "bad guy" or mystery and keep it simple.

AFAIK A Race wasn't originally for Resident Playbook because it was released in 2000 by Yoon Sang.
I know that but I think the new version must be owned by tvN right? The RP ost one.

Very average. In a time where we have movies like The Witch and A Man from Nowhere, this movie feels like a mindless bloodbath without any satisfying action or kills. Almost all the characters are annoying and they don't really have any personality.
I watch such movies for action only and don't really mind a poor story but the story here is really bad. The action starts after 27mins and it's just shooting bullets, then after few minutes the bloody killing starts with cringe dialogue and people just yelling.
Seo In Guk is on the poster just for advertisement. The main character doesn't feel like a main one because her doesn't do much till the end. Jung So Min is there playing a stoic police officer who doesn't shoot even if it's a life of death situation.
One of the few things I liked is JSM looked really sexy in that outfit with her being sweaty and doing very little action. Women may like if as this has Seo In Guk and he is shirt less for quite some time.
If you want a really good korean action movie then I would suggest The Witch Part 1 and A Man From Nowhere (John Wick took inspiration from this one).

I loved this trio. They are really funny and they give a very positive wholesome vibe. SIA really stood out for me, I never really liked her but she was really amazing here, her comedic timing was on point. CHY was so funny, his back and forth with the other two was delight to watch. The pace of the drama was perfect but I think they should have closed the bodhisatva and why MJ was chosen properly.

Can anyone tell me how can a drama from a different company can use ost of other drama from other company? Here they used Resident Playlist's ost in between and at the end credits.
