At this point Su Yu realizes the truth of his own feelings. He wasn't angry because he liked Ye Wanying, but he was bothered by the mere thought that Wu bi might like someone other than him. He has changed his perspective of her not because of one year's time, but because of Wu Bi being in his life. Duo spilling the conversation about her and Wu bi's heartache over someone they love - now Su Yu understands. Such a nuanced and beautiful way of showing their feelings without being so obvious or in your face!
Can't believe we're already halfway through the series now, makes sense they have to start bringing in more drama/angst for the next 12 episodes. Hopefully theres time for a happy ending...
OMG!! the bike rides together (with back hug or facing eachother), the hugs to comfort one another, the cute and longing glances at each other, the jealousy of seeing other guy friends, the playful teasing, the literal laying on eachother in bed... who cares what tags or labels people put. It's a beautiful story of two boys' relationship that I am so proud of the production and actors for doing. It's sad that it is banned from broadcast in china and other countries, but at least the rest of us get to enjoy this content.
Is this real, because one of them is a fregular on Young Jay's YouTube channel and is supposed to be a straight…
Im pretty sure he was still in the closet during his Young Jay videos. Also, there is absolutely no gain in "pretending" to be gay in korean society, only risk of threats and shaming.
"hey after meeting your dog and hearing you sing and having a nice talk, please know that if I knew I didn't have to go on a date with you I would rather I just stayed home instead." lol wat :'(
Does anyone else find the voice dubbing strange/distracting? I know its a chinese production thing, but coming from Japanese, Thai, and korean dramas it feels weird to know that the voice coming out of their mouths (not always perfectly synced) might not even be their true voice.
As a homosexual, one thing that struck me as very strange on this show is the complete lack of discussion about…
Korean culture is still fairly conservative so openly talking about gay sex or positions would not be allowed to go on air or for the show to receive public sponsorship. Also for the guys on the show, it is in their best interest/privacy to keep it to themselves, as they may receive backlash from korean society for being "overtly sexual." I know, it's unfortunate, but I would guess they talk about it in private and not air it in the episodes.
Say what you want about seonwoo or any of the men (cause they’re not characters) but this season 2 is absolutely more complex, interesting, and better production + editing than season 1.
I thought Yoong Hee looked familiar... just realized he's on a bunch of YoungJay's youtube videos about Taekwondo from a year ago, before he went to military or came out. He was cute back then and still is now :)
