I got up to EP 32 and then bought the express package (this was last week). Wished I read the comments about the…
I get too addicted to shows to not finish them even if they have bad endings. It's rough. Like yeah, the ending is kind of unsatisfying and poorly written. But not finishing the drama, and therefore not getting any ending, would be even more unsatisfying to me than a subpar ending.
I got really excited when I saw this article hoping to find some new dramas since I like the E-sports drama theme. Only to realize I have already watched all of these. NOOOO
This is so relatable! Before I got into my obsession with kdramas and cdramas, I discovered BTS and I love them! They have such a wide variety of high quality music in so many genres, they're amazing dancers and they gave me someone to connect with growing up that was just as weird as me in their v-live videos and such of their relationships. Which was a huge thing for me as I had never met anyone a similar type of weird to me, so seeing famous people that so many fangirl/boy over, behave like me gave me a bit of confidence I had been struggling to find in myself. When I decided to show my mom them, she scoffed and rolls her eyes at me and continues to do the same if I mention the latest kdrama I'm watching. (Although I did finally get her to watch one kdrama all the way through, thank you Strong Woman Bong-Soon for being funny enough for her to stick with it) I would love for my mom, sister, or even best friend to fangirl a bit with me instead of rolling their eyes at my love for kdramas and BTS.
I'm so use to watching asian dramas at this point, I leave subtitles on when I'm watching english shows too... Habits die hard. And I will never understand why people think asian actors all look essentially the same! I understand mixing some up occasionally because identifying facial feature are different between races are different and that sometimes take some adjusting, but ALL OF THEM? Really people. My favorite past time is telling people the plot of the show I'm watching and leaving out that its Korean/Taiwanese/Chinese and then watching them get excited about the plot. Ten when they try to hate it later when they find out its asian they look like an idiot or change the subject because they visibly loved the plotline.
