Title Squid Game
Maybe I have watched too many kdramas and tv shows but I found this show hella predictable. Even the 'plot twists' didn't leave me shocked or anything.
On Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Oct 14, 2021
I have skipped most of the side characters stories because I felt frustrated or bored and I honestly don't feel like I have missed out on anything important. Just my opinion but some storylines made this drama a bit draggy
On Coffee Prince Aug 30, 2021
This drama is not helping alleviate my unrealistic standards of love lol😅

I was honestly kind of rooting for Na Bi. I had a tiny ray of hope that she would come to her senses and choose whats good for her or at the very least choose herself and her wellbeing but after this episode I have honestly given up. Like at this point, girl do whatever, no one can save you from yourself.

Y'all are talking about how Jae Eon and Na Bi are toxic for each other but Bit Na and Kyu Hyun are somehow not included in the conversation. Their whole 'relationship' is so toxic and full of big red flags. I mean no proper communication, no commitment, no common ground and so much more. They are not the main leads but still...

Title Go Ahead
I loved the drama especially in the early episodes when there was little to no romance between the main characters. With that being said I don't think Ling Xiao should have pursued Jian Jian with the mindset that she is the only thing that could fix him, heal him and make him whole. Putting that much responsibility on one person, even without the fact that he had a lot of childhood and some adulthood trauma that he never really addressed, wouldn't really end well. ( He also highly romanticized the idea of her. What would happen when she failed to live upto his mental image of her and their relationship?) The idea of it is not as romantic as they made it seem. Their whole relationship is just a lot of toxicity waiting to happen.

This drama is so good but so underated. It is one of the best dramas to air this year in my opinion. I love love the main leads and how naturally they potray a mature relationship with a lot communication and understanding between them. They have so much chemistry and are just so cuute together that I could burst into pink fluff watching them. The plot is also well developed. It hooked me from the first episode and it just keeps on giving. I am going to miss it once its over : (
On It's Okay to Not Be Okay Aug 5, 2020
Just my opinion, I hate who she has turned into for him. Its like she has mellowed out so that he can love her which is a little sad because honestly she was extremely refreshing. It is like the sassy girl completely dissappeared except for a few supposed to be funny jealousy bursts. I am impressed by the insistence of k-dramas that the right person will change the broken girl or the bad boy. That may happen, rarely I add, but in this situation GMY has massive trauma from her childhood which explains some of her behaviour so it is funny when she completely overhauls herself into a different person so quickly because of the ml. At no point was it indicated that she was doing it for herself, her growth or healing. ( I know this is fantasy but still ). There is also the I will give you two closed mouth pecks, one deep kiss, declare you the love of my life and die for you troupe but thats for another day....

It was so intense and I loved every bit of it. It is a drama that is hard to put down once you start because every single thing that happens keeps at the edge of your seat. I wasn't that keen on watching it but boy am I glad I did.
On Eternal Love of Dream May 30, 2020
I loved it don't get me wrong but some plot arcs were soo draggy and somewhat unnecessary? I skipped entire episodes without missing much. Also why are the two female characters so crazy? Is Dong Hua a psycho magnet?

I can't believe Da Kyung who literally was the centre of the mess was left unscathed. Every single person ended up in some sort of miserable existence except her and her family. I am mad...Sun Woo shouldn't have let her off so easily in my opinion considering the fact that Da Kyung and her father tried so hard to make her life a living nightmare. Like how even?????
On The World of the Married May 5, 2020
I am I the only one that feels like it is getting really draggy? I literally skipped most scenes in ep 11 and watched it about 5 minutes but watched most of ep 12 yet it feels like I didn't just skip almost an entire episode.
On Find Me in Your Memory May 3, 2020
I was hesitant to pick up this drama because when I read the synopsis it seemed to follow the kdrama trope where the ml has a unique condition and only the fl can fix him or is an exception for some reason. That combined with the mixed reviews just made me less eager to pick it up. When I finally got to watch it, I was pleasantly surprised. This drama went above and beyond for me. I literally had no expectations yet by the second episode I couldn't put it down. I had to watch more and more and ended up bingeing all the aired episodes in a day lol. Despite the fact that the male lead has a rare condition the drama doesn't excessively push that narrative. Everything serves a purpose and works seamlessly together to form a great plot.

I absolutely adore the main leads. They are so warm and natural together that you can't help but root for them. The pacing of their romance is great and watching them is like consuming a warm sweet drink on a cold day. The side characters are lovable and funny too, well except the bad guys. It has ended up being one of my favourite dramas this year and I kinda regret watching before it finished airing cause now I want to cry because I miss it already... : (

A probably very unpopular opinion but her son is spoilt af. He treats his mom with so much disrespect despite the fact that he is going through a lot. It just doesn't sit well with me how flippant and disregardful of her feelings he is. I know he is young and all but still...

A deflated cartoon.... lmao. I can't stop laughing.
On Find Yourself Apr 10, 2020
Someone said that Yuan Song is bland and I completely agree. It is funny that he is the ml yet his character is the least developed in the whole drama. He is just the guy that loves the fl who also happens to be younger that is it what get to know about him, his other traits are also shown but his whole persona is just not as developed as the rest of the characters. Am I the only one that hates the way the fl suddenly turns into a blubbering immature mess when she is with him? She acts all 'cute' and spineless ( forgive my choice of words) around him yet with her friends, her co-workers, the sl and her family she is an intelligent and well spoken woman. That aside it is a great drama I enjoyed the interactions and dialogues between her friends, family. her brother and his girlfriend and the rest of them. If the main couple is your cup of tea you will enjoy the drama if not just get past them, the rest of the characters are a diamond in the rough give a try regardless.
On The Innocent Man Apr 10, 2020
No one prepared me for the amnesia lol. That aside am I the only one who thinks that whatever Han Ja Hee did to Ma Roo did not warrant the amount of obsession for revenge Ma Roo displayed? He covered for her on his own accord. Did he think that guaranteed absolute devotion to him for the rest of her life? Why is she the bitch for looking out for herself and wanting a better life? I didn't get that reasoning at all.
On Someday or One Day Mar 21, 2020
I love this drama the main leads' chemistry was phenomenal. They were able to convey an array of feelings so naturally I had a really great time watching their interactions. Despite all that, some parts left me scratching my head and my brain almost exploded trying to theorize how and why certain things happened the way they did.
