you know - it's not even half of the story and I would give it 100 out of 10. I'm sympathetic with the whole cast and crew - they do fantastic job and make my life so happy for 160 minutes a week. The comedy, the romance, the suspense, the bromance, the thriller - all is so on point, finished perfectly to the last detail that I...: - adore and care for the Queen and hope she will get her happiness - she deserves it - cherish So Bong - am intrigued by HB revenge in present time - hope he will get it - am in King's fanclub, though it will officially start this weekend - and hope for his happy ending with someone who truly cares about him and will be his family - the Queen duh! - cannot like the cousing, though he has his reasons, blah... [so on point character :D ] - cannot stand Hwa Jin (again on point character) - bcs of her lies, hidden intentions - looking forward to rotten teeth of Queen Grandmother - hoping for some dragon ball chopping of KJG ;] - hope Joseon kitchen Chef has enough stamina for Lady Choi stress levels ...... and much more with time. It's the best drama, best thing that keeps me in awesome mood, eager to wait, digg and cherish every wonderfully played out moment by again - awesome cast = literally everyone here is a true gem, pure treasure who completes the story, with the help of fanstastic crew. IT'S A BLAST!!! thank you Mr.Queen!
Btw, what do you think about this blind physician next to the Queen Grandmother - camera is focusing on her from time to time. Perhaps she's someone from King's side?
as you saw it, can you tell me what's the ending in the chinese one?
yup, GPG was weeeeird af. Novel was better, consistent and seems like Mr.Queen takes more from it's main plot -uff. Thought there was no mixture of both souls in one. But I guess it would not be accepted by the audience in Korea.
Yes. They eventually fell in love, had a child and live happily ever after. :) That's what some commenters are…
well, not fully closed happily ever after. There were 3 different endings after the Empress got killed and the guy woke up from coma. But yeah, meantime they truly fell in love, Empress accepted her being a woman and lets say embrace it. I'd say the novel was more clear about the whole story and had a real happy ending - they got bunch of kids. The Emperor was faithful only to one woman, he knew that Empress is not the girl from his past, he knew she was a man (more or less) and accepted her with time with love. The fact she was frank in bed and went to discover her womanhood might have help them greatly :P The Empress followed same path of acceptance, though for long time she was saying that wants to have stable future being Empress Dowager, not that she loved Qi Sheng . She understood that after he faked his death... to fulfill her wish and make her theED. It seems that Mr.Queen takes more from the novel - fortunately.
Well So Yong did choose to die so its not like she would normally be enjoying a romance if her body didn't get…
regular switch to old self would be unfair to the King - he fell for the new combo Queen. If the Queen won't grow from all this switch - whole plot would be simply pointless
So whether it will be:1)Bong Hwan is the reincarnation of So Yong in the future OR2)Bong Hwan's soul and So Yong's…
yeah, damn this drama is so good. I'm so curious about the journey and how they will resolve this soul mess without hurting characters of Queen, Chef and King. I think that BH will help Queen and comeback or dissolve within Q's persona. More or less what you said. Actually I'd prefer second option. Their combo is like a full package. ^^, I will have a true heartbreak after the end.
