This is what I think.
The recent past life happened early 1970s when they were uni students. The creepy ajumma aka sfl's mother, is in her 50s, so it basically means that the three leads all died somehow but the mother survived and obviously remembers her younger years. However, what I don't understand was when the mother recently visited the uni and made a donation, she didn't mention that she was an alumnus unless she changed her identity.
