The ratings for Bon Appétit, Your Majesty dropped in Episode 11 because the story suddenly turned very dark with betrayals, deaths of beloved characters, and heavy political twists, which overwhelmed some viewers who came for the romance and the royal cooking. Many fans, including me, feel the drama could have highlighted more of its lighter side—the sweet love story, the fascinating dishes, and especially the travel back to modern times. I’m most curious about how the king follows the royal cook into her world—that’s the magic I wanted to see more of.
