It's kinda disappointing that the least remarkable actor is yang yang. He hasn't changed since i last saw him in love o2o. He barely has any lines and he's very stiff and doesn't react to the scene, he's just standing there. It's especially noticeable when he's with his roommate, who is doing a phenomenal job infact the whole side cast is amazing ( i loved the husband of her manager). But the real star is Deliraba, she is killing it. You can real feel her growths through her dramas. She's really making her character come to life. PS: I read the novel and I don't remember yu tu being such a bore but maybe reading and seeing it acted is different. Anyway this drama is very well shot and edited and it looks high budget, which has been missing from recent modern cdramas

I just saw the first 2 minutes of the first episode and i agree. It looks very low budget and like it was filmed…
You know what after seeing the next 6 episodes it's kinda growing on me. And i think it's because of zhang and zhou. They're a joy especially Zhou this role really suits her. And the directing got better. But the subtitles have gone down hill and it's throwing me off.

Even the lighting feels off. Like it's too bright for a supposedly dark story. And the transition between scenes feels off. I hate when a drama I'm so excited for turns out like this
