i think the actor the play played noh tae nam was really really good - he was able to depict the character growth of noh tae nam perffectly - from his corrupt good for nothing, to his chaotic character at first in the army, to how he realises the pain of the people at the bottom of the chain (and how badly he treated them) to him trying to make everything right. I loved SEEING and FEELING the character growth. I knew he was a good actor in vincenzo but his acting in the one blew me away - i was so focused on his scenes. literally hats off to him
i love the moments when krystal looks into the camera so much!!!! and the ending for ep 4 - oh my FREAKING cow! Why?!?!?!? I'm so curious as to why his doing what his doing

Honestly good question. I have a couple of theories about it - first is that she just doesn't want to disappoint and hurt them by telling them. They seem so sure that his this wonderful amazing picture perfect husband material son-in-law (since his taking care of them too) and they've known him to be a wonderful polite mannered boy for the last 10 years of their relationship. Isn't there this one line where you first meet the parents where the dad's like 'I'me never wrong about a person?'I would assume that the emotions one feels after that kind of let down can have a person questioning their own ability in recongising whether a person is good or not - and his meant to be there potential son in law.
The second theory is that because although she is really hurt by the SML that he did that, the last 10 years are also valuable (???) to her in a sense. Like she invested herself in this relationship (as she explains when she was drunk) and at one time she really loves/d this person. I would imagine it'd be harder to go 'bye loser' when it's a 10 year relationship compared to a 1 year relationship.
Thirdly, that loser of a SML is so manipulative - it has me thinking does he love her or does he just want to marry her because she's the trophy girlfried/fiance/wife material.
I definitely think I like the Male lead - he actually looks out for her. That scene when the electricity went out - HE RAN UP ALL THOSE STAIRS while the SML just stood on the ground floor. Like what if the Male lead hadn't asked about the FML and had gone about his day and the FML had maybe fell and bonked her head - she would've been dead coz the SML didn't want to get a bit sweaty and wasn't worried about her like the ML. LOLC an you tell that I don't like the SML right now or do i need say more
