seho is one of the best antagonists ive seen in a long time. hes written so well and his reason for being what he is, is so understandable and believable. the actor's really killing it, his scenes are insanely well-acted.
i dont think people get that there is no objectively right or wrong thing to have done in the girls position. she didn't see it acc happen, she said what she heard. the police don't base it solely on one girls partial witness testimony. that se ho dude put everyone into an impossible situation, ppl need to relax with the girl and spend more time hating the actual villian.
I think he didn't double checked because he remembered her and he really thought that she was his sister.
his memory is fragmented for most of this drama, so why would he only rely on his poor memory to determine whether or not his girlfriend is his SISTER, that's a huge step. idk it just seemed like lazy writing in my opinion.
I'm glad they kept it a tragedy, a happy ending would not have fit with the narrative. I'm super glad it wasn't incest, cus say whatever you want, it makes me uncomfortable and i'll be fine without it. Most of this drama was fascinating to me, I really enjoyed it. The acting and chemistry of the leads was great. Even though at this point I feel like I could tell Moo Young that Jin Kang is his mother and somehow he'd just believe me since this dude does not double check ANYTHING, I was still really intrigued by his character, both before and after "meeting" Jin Kang. I dont really do reviews but i'd give it like a 8/10
Ok I get that people want them to stick to the original ending because it pushes the envelope and "we can't always get a happy ending". But honestly speaking, is incest really what people want in terms of Koreans becoming less conservative and more willing to be dark. Plus, the original is out and available for people to watch, what's the point in going with the exact same route. Idk, just my two cents.
