yeah, I didn't see the rape coming. Just watched that episode. Hmmmm.......She certainly has mental health issues . People aren't so great at dealing with those issues now I guess, further more back then. I guess the writers want to continue the story and let Gao justify her future actions

miao rong is a sociopath it seems. Not good to use the word loosely, but her uncle and people take the blame for her and she doesn't feel much. She just goes back to her obsession Li Qian

dong dong is quite clever and goes outside of her luxurious environment quite often , so I don't get why she would just forget her purse like that on the table in episode 23. I guess the writer just needed something to show Qing An watching over her.

@princess_celesta. oh noooo. Not the emperor. The emperor is very worrisome. I guess he's a bit bad but not the worst cuz as the emperor I imagine he could have found a way to secretly kill li qian already or frame him for something (the framing thing could still happen though as his obssession won't go away). He already had him sent to the most likely place to get killed (on the border) with all the fighting going on. Both the emperor and zhao xiao are obsessed but I think I would still slightly prefer zhao xiao. I don't think zhao xiao would easily sleep with another woman....maybe if he was really drunk....who knows, meanwhile the emperor was sleeping with the maid and still professing his love for bao ning and saying she is the only woman for him. I mean I get he is an emperor and have concubines but he just strikes me as obsessive. Both Li Qian and zhao xiao don't want any other women. They just love them some bao ning.

zhao xiao needs to stop. I understand it's not easy to stop liking someone at all but he is obssessive. I still think Miao Rong is worse though. She may not be able to fight with weapons but I imagine she is willing and able to take certain actions that would set things into motion and get somone killed. Someone actually likes her though. So she should head in that direction.
