It's rude to remark about a person's look. she may be "ugly" to you but pretty to others. We just have different standards of beauty. But attacking any person, a normal citizen or celebrity, base on their looks is considered bullying.
I still think she's alright, not the prettiest in my definition of "beautiful". she's normal looking to me. But I don't think that she shouldn't be casted just because she don't have that caucasian feature like most of the "pretty" actresses.

if someone says to you, "you're so ugly! you don't deserve to work here! you're so ugly, you don't deserve to be in this picture!" you would be hurt and sad too and probably very bother by it

attacks on a person's looks can lead to low self confidence, lack of selflove, health deterioration, and many other physical and mental health issues.
I'm saying this because you're not the first one to attack this actress on her looks. a bunch of cyberbullying about someone's looks will eventually reach the person and effect him/her. Those who are not strong enough will even take their own life. Won't you feel guilty if someone dies because you're one of the people that causes it?

it's okay to think someone's ugly because they don't fit your definition of "beautiful" but don't attack them saying they shouldn't have been given the role, that it should've been someone else. you can just say she's not pretty base on your standard. a very simple remark but not rude or mean

it won't be that bad. it's not like they don't show her face at all. they only show the other girl's face when it's from other people's perspective. There are some cute and funny scene due to her not having the original face (those cute scenes will be Bai Lu's face since it's from her perspective)

i've never done it but I have heard some people(from other drama page) use vpn to buy the episode on tencent website to watch.

as for me, although i don't use illegal site, I have no choice but to watch the raw eps there and then watch it again on the legal site when they release the sub version. I don't know how to use vpn and all the loopholes to buy vvip eps on the tencent website. This is the only reason why I resort to the illegal website for raw eps.

if you can't watch on wetv, maybe it's available in your region on the youtube channel. as long as you pay to join membership to tencent youtube channel , you should have access to all episodes that tencent uploaded to the playlist
although tencent do upload a day later than on wetv and the official tencent website

they didn't even watch it. they just want to hate. for those who did watch, they only watch 1 or 2 eps and then complain about the drama.
these are just pure haters that really want to bring down the drama. their reason is because they're haters.
We just try to ignore them as best we can for now. don't pay attention to them. it'll be better for you too if you like this drama 🙂

I'm glad you're sticking to the legal sites. This is the only way we can support this drama, by watching on the official website, app, and channel! This drama 'ALP' really need this support due to the unreasonable hate it's getting

are you referring to tencent youtube or the chinese tencent ap? because tencent app for internationals is wetv

so far from my experience of using tencent, eps31-38 is only available on the official tencent app/website. It MIGHT be available to some country.

The reason, if you didn't know, is because these episodes are the on demand(vvip) episodes where with subscription, you still have to pay for each episode to watch it

I submitted an edit to change the release date for eps 25-38 (even gave sources of where I got the info) but admin rejected and told me it's already been adjusted to the latest schedule. Admin message me the reason for rejection by sending me the link of the calendar that it had been adjusted on (which was literally the same source I submitted for approval 🙄)
but it's not even fixed so idk what the admin saw that's been adjusted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
