don't tell me it's not past 5 eps because as someone who really loves TMOPB and have seen it more than 5 times. I can say there is no similarity to it at all. The things that are similar, it's due to the fact that they are base off of the chinese belief about gods/immortals/demons and their world. Which is something all xianxia have in common.

watch it. just put in mind that first 10 eps are the intro eps. The base that will build up to the main story, so it might be boring(wasn't boring at all for me though) but they are essential to help you know characters and understand things later on in the story

exactly! As someone who have re-watched TMOPB over 5 times, I can say I don't see any similarities in Ancient Love Poetry at all. I was so confuse when ppl keep saying it's too much like TMOPB. Like, where is it similar? I'm sure I've watched it wayyy too many times to miss anything. -there was no true gods in peach blossom, no chief god, no divine beast. -the bad guy start off as captured already and eventually killed before the main story even starts. -even the clothing and hairdo don't have similarity to peach blossom(LAD is the one that gives off TMOPB vibe with their clothing and sceneries)
the only thing in connection to peach blossom is the voice actors lol the rest are all from the chinese belief about gods and immortal worlds
