I finally got to watch this movie! It was creepy but in a great way, but there wasn’t enough pull or seduction from the antagonist. Shu reminded me of Gwi from The scholar who walks the Night. I guess I should watch the anime series to get a idea of what the last scene meant. Wish it didn’t take so long between movies to be made, but the visual effects weren’t used as much as the first but well done. I was sad to see Kotaro’s character not used except for one scene and pretty much only two shots. I was so looking forward to see what coat he would be wearing considering his in the last was fantastic (even better in the anime and we all know that anime costumes are out of this world) but was disappointed in the lights being too low to clearly see him. Shu’s mask looked almost like charred skin, but I was pleased to see the close ups of it to reveal the bead work and painstaking detail. Kaneki’s isn’t even used or shown. I feel like this was a short story (the story being told in 24 hours time) but it isn’t because the only depth of it is kimi’s story.
Can anyone tell me what character is written on the paper the first king sees during the second episode? It’s at about 35 seconds into the episode. I can’t find it or guess what it means.
I was a fan of the AMC American version. It was short lived but had great writing. I hope with the extra episodes it’ll show the struggle between humans and synths. Also I wonder if they will include the part where the father sleeps with the robot?
I do really hope that if it becomes a six hour expanded version of the story they explain to the American audience settle superstitious things that happened in the story. Like what I noticed with an American reviewing the movie he did not understand subtle foreshadowing. The biggest one being with the mother throws and smashes the glass.
I also love 3 especially since many of the classmembers are famous for other roles. My favorite of all year is Strangers from Hell. It was short and to the point with a great twist. Goo Wook is magnificent as the antagonist!
I first found this on Prime and it had a terrible translation so I switched to Kissasian. I do Think they did show who is responsible. At the rich boys speech there’s someone leaving in a black outfit and cap. it was interesting that all the male leads had the same tone of hair color.
I’m late to watching this series but please tell me they only use the music from Sherlock one in the series!! I’ve watched both BBC and CBS Sherlock dramas and each is unique, please tell me this is not a copy!
One of the best things about Soo was that she cooked but it was always burnt or overcooked. Lol she also tried to impress with making an apple bunny but instead it was just badly peeled.
I finally figured out that there is an amazing foreshadowing in the character Ki Hyuk, in that he dresses exactly like Moon and even tries to become him and do his job as a killer, And that’s why Moon doesn’t kill him before the story starts.
Stories! I feel like he would use his crimes as inspiration for his novels.
Yes but he didn’t collect the teeth from his patients and none of his victims were patients, so if Jung kills people and then wrote about them that would be way too easy for any police officer to figure out. If Moon is really that far deep inside his head then he too would probably collect teeth. Fill the bracelet up and then move onto another.
I do really hope that a new show will be released sooner than his new movie. I want him in something not shiny. Something that everyone thinks they know the story but it all gets turned upside down and never lets anyone forget.
he should find another vampire role, korean dramas are miserably failing on that genre but if it's lee soo hyuk…
No one else has played two different vampires in two different genres. He is a first so to see him again will probably never happen. (Unless someone were to write and get a green light for a Gwi prequel)
Also I wonder if they will include the part where the father sleeps with the robot?
