So I've been seeing clips of Mew and Gulf floating around on Instagram and man their chemistry looks so good! Makes me even more excited and eager to see them in this!!

So I know this one was released *after* Pornographer, but any recs on which one to watch first (being that this one's a prequel and all)?

Ahhh yes!! I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt like this! I just feel like the disappointment was even bigger because this show seemed so hyped up and everyone was super excited for it, but then they didn’t quite deliver.

Anyone else feel like the writers just did not care this season and only made this because people wanted SS2 and they (the writers/director) wanted to give some finality to the series? Like others have said, it just felt rushed, choppy, and thrown together. It had its moments, but overall didn’t deliver the way it should have. That said, I’m glad it was only 8 episodes of this mess, but maybe with more they could have handled things a bit better? Ehh, whatever, it’s done now lol

New episodes come out on Thursday, so I think they should be uploaded to this playlist by the weekend (assuming/hoping they continue to do so).

That’s what I’m thinking too! I can’t tell if the publisher previously gave permission but revoked it or maybe wants to wait until after the series airs? Jay seems to be really good about only doing licensed translations, so I have to believe (or hope) that permission was given at some point lol

Oooh one of my favorite genres, and Korea does them so well! Thanks for the recommendations. Some of my recent faves are Stranger, Black, and Kingdom (though that one’s more thriller/suspense rather than crime lol)!

He does have some really good one liners! And he does them so subtly, you really have to be paying attention lol. He was a little too cringey for me in episode 1, but I think I’ve warmed up to him lol
