I’ll only read it at the end.. I like watching the series without any pre-formed opinions.

I have to admit I was feeling a bit sensitive when I made that comment haha, but I’ll just ignore it and keep watching, I really like the two main here hahaha.

OMG, I also tried watching ALTCFL again and couldn’t handle seeing her teeth looking that horrible, so I ended up skipping that part too HAHAHA! 😂😂😂😂

I'm 20 minutes into episode 1, and I'm irritated because they're supposed to be 'older'—20 years have passed, and nothing has changed, lol. They couldn't have chosen older actors to play them 20 years older? It makes no sense. This is really ANNOYING me.

Of course, if you have someone who’s attractive, rich, and successful, it’s obvious they have an active sex life, both the actresses and the actors. Life’s too short....I hope they’re enjoying it too. 😊😊😊

Like I said, I think it's about trends. There were so many shows (older ones) where the male lead was the playboy, and the female lead was the untouched virgin, and that went on for like 15 years until now they've started doing the opposite. And honestly, it was unbearable, you know? It also doesn't make sense to have characters who are like 30 years old and have never had sex or a relationship, it's kind of unrealistic. But at the end of the day, most of these shows in the rom-com genre push this illusion of the perfect opposite (whether it's the female or male lead), it's a fantasy. And maybe it's not meant to be true to life.

Sometimes it's better to drop it when you see it’s not your style rather than getting stressed out. I love this site because it has great search tools like 'strong male lead' or something like that. I recommend you use it.

I don’t get why it’s such a big deal to show the FL buying condoms. She’s an adult and in a relationship. Sexually active people should protect themselves, right? I don’t see it as “boasting about going through boxes of condoms” It just so happens that the ML works at the convenience store. Have you guys never bought condoms before? That’s kind of worrying…

But I get that maybe you prefer romances where the ML is a player, so this might not be your kind of thing.

I actually really like ''bad boys'' in shows, but I gotta admit, it’s been a while since I’ve seen them in this kind of romance. It seems like they’re not in trend anymore, and they (writers) usually go with themes that are similar to whatever’s popular at the moment.

I usually wait for everything to be released and binge it in 2 days, BUT I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS DRAMA THAT I MADE THE BIG MISTAKE OF WATCHING THE FIRST 2 EPISODES. And, of course, I LOVED IT. I was looking for a light and funny rom-com. Ugh, it's going to be torture waiting all week for the new episodes

I'm not sure if I liked it or not. The beginning is weird, and the information is just thrown out there. And then, out of nowhere, the lady just lets a complete stranger into her house. The son, who's depressed because his wife died after his mom kept nagging him a lot, suddenly decides he likes this complete stranger and goes back in time to kill himself to save her, leaving his daughter (who he never really paid attention to or knew well because he was too selfish, stuck on his dead wife who was cheating on him) alone again.

Other than that, I liked the set design, it's a visually beautiful show to watch. I also enjoyed the soundtrack. As for the story, I liked Da Hae's uncle with I Na more. I wish they had more screen time, too, especially Da Hae's uncle and Bok Dong Hee as a couple. And I loved Bok Dong Hee and Grace together...they were so much fun!

I haven't finished it yet but I wanted to praise the soundtrack. The instrumentals that play at important moments make it seem like an old film when orchestras played the tracks. Without a doubt, it added an extra touch.

I speak portuguese, so I understood it as a 'cheers'. Now i see its german hahaha 😂

And to be honest, the ending was meaningless. For the common consumer (I watched it on Netflix) there is no talk about the extra episode so the ending was empty... If I didn't come here to comment I wouldn't know about this extra. I think it tarnished the series a little. But overall it was an amazing series. I hope fans don't keep meddling with the scripts. As I said here in another comment, if someone expects happy endings, I'm afraid that period Chinese series are not something they should consume.

I have no problem with sad endings. I really expected the sad ending as it is typical for this style of series. I was speechless because I liked it so much hahah.

And I didn't like that they changed the ending to please the audience. I think that's wrong. But I understand that because of all the protagonist's suffering, people expected her to have a happy ending.

Well, I saw some people complaining about ''sad endings''. I don't like it either. But part of the Chinese period series with this theme is the sad ending. If you take that away it loses its meaning. Let's not ruin the Chinese series as they ruined the Korean ones. The public doesn't have to choose the end of anything. The ending is chosen by the director, the screenwriter and whoever wrote the work. Changing the ending because ''we want happy endings'' is destroying the work of those who created it. If you want and expect happy endings I suggest avoiding this type of series as it is clearly not for you.

In fact, part of what I personally like about these Chinese dramas is the possibility of having a happy ending or not, you never know. I've watched others in this style that have a happy ending and that made sense to the story, just as I've watched series with sad endings that ALSO made sense.

I hope you guys understand what I'm saying, and that I'm not saying this to offend anyone.
