I'm currently cheering on second male lead, cause his character is more interesting so far. XD
feel for male lead. he is pretending to act as a bad boyfriend/guy because he does not want to drag tiffany down since he has no job or career aspect after what his exgirlfriend did to his career . he can't help convince her mother to seek treatment and does not have money to send her mother to england for treatment, he thinks tiffany will be better or happier without him. he told her that he needs to concentrate on his carrer and being with her is not helping him and making his life worse. However, in his heart, he loves her very much so this is hurting him internally (see the confession he gives to her mother while he thinks tiffany's mother is sleeping)

she will very soon and initially tries to distance herself from him when she was dating the male lead and tries to quit her job too prior to main leading breaking up with her. main male lead feels close to the new girl because she understands him and his situation. the rich heiress / cousin of the second male lead gets the male lead back on his career path and explains to him that she was once a vindictive exgirlfriend who salbotaged her exboyfriend. Her exboyfriend outdid her out since he committed suicide as his revenge and she regretted her choices after that.

the male lead from 10 years ago was dating his college sweetheart. He realizes their personalities do not fit so she breaks uo with him. This exgirlfriend is also a colleague and her dad is the owner of the architect firm and also shawn dou's teacher. They screw him over after taking his job, his design away from him as revenge for the breakout. he falls in love with tiffany. however, due to his inabilty to get a descent job and future, he breaks up with tiffany, citing that he needs to put his carreer first and that he cannot be the man she will marry in the future because he is not a responisble person. Her heart is broken and she leave to england to help her mom seek treatment and she accepts the breakout with a tearful heart. time passes and she returns to china and he is working for Yan Shou's cousin who was able to convince the vindictive exgirlfriend to give back Shawn design and he becoems the archiect to build his bird building. Tiffany thinks he is career driven and tries to distance herself from him, afraid of getting her heart broken again. Second male lead is the hero for most of her dififuclties and apepars to be her when Shawn is not there to help her. However, he is engaged to a rich family friend heiress and does not know how to break it off sicne thsi will hiut his carrer. it's is all a dream. Her current husband is trying to awaken her-see episode 29?- the episode after she gets high fever after her past future husband breaks up with her- she goes into a coma- she wakes up but is still trap in the dream as the person from 10 years ago.
Saw up to ep 21. From what I read in the web, she dreams all this in her coma state and thinks she is back 10 years ago. They are together but obstacles on way as his career isn’t being sabotaged by his vindictive ex girlfriend. He meets a new girl in England who probably will help his career and likely this will cause the breakup. Nice that there is 2 ep a day
