I keep seeing comments that the reason why Krist is trying BL again is because he's no longer making money on his straight roles. But I think, the reason why he accepted a gay role again is because he wants to prove to everyone that he is no longer homophobic (since this was one of the things he was criticized before for saying that he will not accept BL anymore except if Singto is his partner). Which I think is not the effective way to prove that he is an Ally. He needs to educate himself about SOGIE. I see from his behavior that he only sees gay couples as someone girls will fetishize about. He needs to break his stereotypes or maybe prejudice first among the LGBTQ+ community and start accepting them fully (accepting is different from tolerating). Maybe if that's the case, he will finally prove to everyone that he has changed and no longer homophobic. Taking a gay role is not the answer.
