Hands down one of the most beautifully shot BL dramas I’ve ever seen. Hats off to the cinematographer & director, I hope they work together again in another BL series. The opening sequence and the music that went with it was stunning. I didn’t think there was a lot of angst in this like some people claimed but maybe because I took everything lightly. I ended up laughing a lot more than expected because I couldn’t believe how incredibly silly & stupid some of the characters were but they also felt very real and relatable because a lot of the times we do so many DUMB things in the name of love. They did drag out the second half of the drama but I understood why they did, I just wished it was done differently. After a while the scenes do start to feel repetitive but I will be watching this again for the cinematography and the amazing cast! They did such a great job! I believed they were these flawed characters and it made me a fan of all the actors, they were that good. If you’re going to watch this, go in with no expectations and I think you’ll absolutely love Theory of Love like I did.

I’m still waiting on the whole series to end to binge watch but I saw a few episodes and loved it!

I cried so much this episode not from sadness but happiness because YXG & XHT are just everything. When XHT placed YXG’s hand on his chest and said “you complete me”, when YXG was confident enough to say I love you to XHT, when YXG was staring at the stars and then XHT joined him and they started at each other leading to this beautiful, passionate kiss. Just so many moments! this is officially my favorite BL.

I’m laughing so hard because I completely understand how you feel.

I love his show and that they are following exactly how it is in the book BUT I wish the editing and use of sounds was much better.

In the preview for the next episode, it seems there’s a separation? and I’m kind of happy about it only because their relationship now is so perfect that I’m always scared for them. Hao Ting is making a lot of sacrifices for his bunny rabbit that I was starting to really worry only because he might eventually get tired one day. I know he’s doing all these things only to make Xi Gu’s world better but for how long? because they are 18 yrs old right now. If they did end up in long distance relationship, at least they can figure out how to strongly stand alone and also be stronger together. Also I’m so happy that Sun Bo & Zhi Gang are still going strong. That didn’t really surprise me because their relationship was built that way. I’m the happiest for Zhi gang because he found someone to love all of him.
I wonder how many years the time lapse is gonna be?

They all looked so good! I’m so glad YXG is getting a different look.

this current episode has me feeling so many different things because I was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. With that being said I am so excited but also sad for the next and last episode!

I said that too. It’s the type of hug you give when you never ever want to lose someone because they are your world. Hao Ting is the reason Xi Gu started to do a lot of things, XG realizes this and never wants to let him go. I’m gonna be devastated if he has a sad ending. They both deserve each other

chemistry is off the charts! and yes this director is the reason I’m excited for history2 CTL2

The only reason I thought it was from Xia de was because through the series they’ve shown that he has some type of feelings towards Xi gu and I’m wondering if they’ll talk about it at all or just simply ignore it.

No I’ve never done that and it’s my first time seeing it hence my confusion. Thanks for explaining...I didn’t even notice the water bottles. Was too busy looking at bunnies. I’ll look for this when I watch the episode again.

oh definitely couldn’t be cause hao ting and Xi gu we’re studying together in the classroom in epi 8, the bag was in the room with them and none of them noticed.
