I really don't like the direction that they are going in with the ML stepmother and cousin(?) bullying the FL now that she is married into the household. I don't think it's realistic since the FL is a princess and she is still higher in the social hierarchy than them.
Besides she is close with both the Emperor and Grand Empress Dowager, do they think they could get away with bullying her??? So stupid!
It looks from the trailers that they get caught or told off so yay I suppose

Interesting article. I always thought that for the Battle of Nightless City it was meant to be way less people than the stated 3000 because it showed another example of how the stories about Wei Wuxian were exaggerated or straight up false. Other scenes though could have been filmed better though

I don't think the relationship between the mono and the probe is as one-sided as Yeonwoo has presented so far. I think the mono and probe both become obsessed with each other and cannot live without each other. Yoohan has definitely become obsessed with Yeonwoo as much as Yeonwoo has with him and it's only 2 episodes in!

I would not be even surprised if Vee x Allen happened at some point.
I mean this is only season 1 so the possibilities are endless. I just don't think that it will ever be Vee x Jennifer

Headcannon as of ep 3: Vee is an incubus. It can kind of explain why Sister is so crazy about him not having a life (besides her just being a religious nut) and also why the siblings are all so attracted to Vee. Also, how confident Vee is doing sexual things now after just having sex one time (but this could be just how the actor plays him).
Very interested in what happens next. Will this be the first BL ever to feature a poly relationship (Dong x Vee x Jay)????

He talks about what I posted about in ep 12 to QH's maid and another pursuer arrives in the story. I don't think that he thinks himself as all weak but atm weak enough to not want to be a burden to QH. I agree that he will get himself cured it will be interesting to see when that happens in the story.

I like that the ML is like "yes I like this chick but I will stand back and let her be with someone else (SML) because I am weak/ poisoned and I don't want her to go through the pain of losing me."
But I feel like this may not last for long since they will eventually end up together.
I think he will get healed and the SML will end up enemies with the ML because of family reasons?? (Based off the trailer)

So glad it's only 28 episodes. I don't think I could sit through another 48-50 episode drama with a million filler plots and episodes.
Hopefully, having fewer episodes means less fluff and more good story

I'm hoping that the stupid angst that is about to happen only lasts for tomorrow's episodes because if they drag it out so we have to wait until next week....

There is nothing wrong with the slow pace! It's the same as the book.
This is not some show that involves unnecessary drama, misunderstandings and subplots like so many other BL dramas. It's very refreshing to see how the relationship between Dean and Parm develops over time and how the main conflict of the series is internal (the dealing with the effects of their past lives) rather than external (evil exes, love triangles, etc.).
Also, more episodes mean more WinTeam, Manow & Pruk, and Del & XXXX, whose relationships were not shown in the book, YAY!

WTF happened? How'd the episode count go from 15 to 3?!?!? Did it get cancelled or censored or something?!???!!?!?!?

I have a theory that since it is 15 episodes and there are two versions of the book, that they will do both versions - light and dark - as a way of going 'well if events had gone this way instead, what would happen?' or 'if this one thing had happened/ not happened how would things have turned out'.
But this could just me wishfully hoping for a less dark series to watch and a happy ending that doesn't involve blackmail, psychological manipulation and abuse.
TBH I originally had a theory - after watching the special episodes - that Man would be the one to rape Shin because he was jealous but unfortunately that theory went down the toilet in the last 5 minutes of episode 2

Same, I'm watching all 4 as well. And in a few weeks I'll be adding Until We Meet Again ❤️
