After much though I think labing this drama as a Rom Com hurt it. its actually more a Fantasy /Slice of life drama. It does have Romance and it Does have Comedy but the romance and comedy are not really front and center. The fantasy and Slice of life really take center stage. which ironically is how the producer writer labled it during the dramas press conference.

I think alot of people didnt get that writers where giving insite into the character of the lead roles through the side storys of the people around them and how they delt with those people or those peoles issues. I still was worried that they could t wrap the story in 12 episoded but they managed to do so while leaveing fans of the story wanting more.. they probably should have extended it out 4 more episodes and shown a lil more interaction between the leads so people could see the romance develope more. this of course didnt tale away from drama for me but probably would have made it more enjoyable for some.

I personally really enjoyed it alot. So I highly recommend it. the story is kind of complex as it involves much more than just the leads you are actually leaning things about the leads through those surrounding them. which can be tedious and boring for some. those side storys that give us insight into lead roles personalities are mini stories all ther e own as well isnt life like that. so for me it makes all the characters more realistic. So while I very strongly recommend it I also realize it might not appeal to everyone. I am a KHJ fan but honestly for me having him in this drama was more like an icing on the cake . I watch alot of Kdramas and Cdramas so I dont really follow actors I am drawn to the storys the dramas tell. When it comes to Music and KHJ for me there is no one better then him. in the drama i Like Snupers OST but I bought KHJs OST the min it was released. hope that helps.

Fair enough. I watch alot of dramas and some are ok is alright like Goblin was for me.. and honestly thats my feeling with Most dramas. however some just call to me. For me WhenTime Stopped will be one of those. I fell hard for the characters. two other dramas that did this to me that i dont hear much hype about are Secret Garden, and My Love Eun Dong. I am not comparing them just saying they resonate with me on a level that makes me absolutly love them.

The smile has left your eyes lost me when male lead played the nieve lil rich girl while pursuing her best friend and even knowing this the best friend starts to fall for him.. story just not my cup of tea... sad because i enjoy the cast in other preformances.

the end was happy amd logical it just left open the possibilty of a follow up I dont think we will get ????. for me joon woo recovering his memorys and them sharing a sweet passionate kiss on the beach as the sun goes down would have been a perfect ending...
as his fan I appriciate that. Fans are not asking everyone to like him only to stop accusing him of things he has been cleared of through the courts or harping on a misdmeanor that he was punished for and even appologised for.

me saying seems in this context is a away of saying has the appearance of. obesrvation rather than assumption. Sorry, you feel you wasted your time on the third you watched. one third of the way in this drama was still very much setting back groud and stage for the meat and bones of the story. (granted odd for such a short drama and I even worried they wouldnt be able to wrap up the story in 12eps doing it this way). For this drama its equivalent to reading the jacket cover of a book. you can get an idea of wether you might like the book but you couldnt say write a report on the book. maybe why it would seemed as if you didnt actually watch the drama. I cant get my head around why some people do things that seem pointless to me like writing bad reviews on something they clearly didnt watch but it happens. the drama doesnt have any "time travel ". it does have reincarnation, abilitys to manipulate time, one personal and well lets just say a person of special relevance to that person has a pretty cool ability that kinda mixes time, space, and dimension stuff together, shape shifting abilities, an ability to be a kind of human copy machine.. and when that person has been cleared through courts of those accusations. has proven that the accuser lied and fabricated evidence. the person who hurt abuse victums in this case is the one who has been proven to be a lier who its been proven through medical documentation, doctors testimonys and eyewitnesses to have lied about and presented false evidence in the one instance for which the accused was unjustly fined because the procescution didnt investigate and fined him for something he told them he didnt believe he had done but that if he was responsible that it was accidental... I agree the writer did something diffrent here letting us get to know the leads personalitys through thier effects on the people around them... quite a brilliant move. because I am a KHJ fan I would have loved more KHJ scenes... but this is a story about Joon Woo and Sun A... very well done in that respect
