For me personally, in their 5 yrs apart, they grew more matured but the love is always there. Just like in real life, when you see an old flame whom you can't forget, it wouldn't really take that long to forgive. All the past love can easily come back at first meeting and this I think is what happened to them. If you would observe their interactions, she was already prepared to forgive him. It just needed a push and an opportunity.

I think "luck" because LBY is a partner that is a match for NN's personality. Lu Yao may seem to have been a good choice but she will not experience that same passion like loving LBY. With YS, they may understand each other but will just remain as friends. So it really is just LBY who can be at par with our girl NN.

In all fairness. LBY is not a hopeless case. He may have been ruthless because of his desire for revenge but once he was free of it, his true character came out. As NN said he is innocent like a baby. The "trust" was there, it just need a little push for them to realize it. So for me, the character growth and drama ending was well made and more realistic.

The best drama of 2022. You won't regret esp if you don't mind slow burn. No wasted screen time for all characters. Lots of funny moments too even in the midst of serious situations

Yes me too. I can't get enough of NN & HBY together so I was hoping for more ep of their happy moments but that's just me being greedy too. Nonetheless, the drama ended well so I feel content.
