lol i only posted 7 hours ago and already got 3 feedback. as expected, this drama definitely has lots of fans. thank you for all of your guys opinion and suggestion. . what frustrated me is not the drama, but myself. let's be honest, 9.4 is not ordinary right? and again no one talking bad about the drama. so there must be 'something' with this drama. every drama has their own uniqueness, and i can see this one has it too, like the character of WWX (yes i agree with u violentajumma, lol he is a badass). but why i can't find it 'extraordinary'. like it's not bad but also not extraordinary. actually it can be because it's not my preference like angelvsdevil said, but i'm just so stubborn that i want to get those 'something' about this drama (i don't want to miss an art ^^). that's why i can't let it go and wonder would it be better if i read the novel instead? . btw can someone recommend me place to find the book? like link or online book store? i already tried libgen and apple books but can't find it. or perhaps i used the wrong title? cause i used 'The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation' thank you.

of course they happily end up together. and for the spoiler, there is not many antagonist in this drama, so it is enjoyable to watch. but for some people it may leads into 'tasteless' cause there is not that much people that makes trouble. idk how to explain it, hope it helpful.
for those who wondering whether watch it or not, i would like to give some opinion. 1. if you've watched TMOPB then please forget fengjiu and donghua stories in TMOPB before watch this. don't let it confused you, it's different story. 2. i know some people say that the real romance is in the middle of the drama. it is because fengjiu and donghua relationship were developing in the early eps. for me personally, i like it watching it growing. but it's up to you. 3. if you haven't watch TMOPB i really recommend this drama for you. cause you can really enjoy it as it is. 4. for me, things that really catch me is fengjiu character. she isn't naive/dumb/clumsy but she is also not very strong/tomboy. she may spoiled, make mistake, and playful. but she is also elegant, and independent at the same time. idk how to describe her, but if you watch the whole eps then maybe you will understand how special her character is. 5. don't watch it if you are not in the mood for long drama. better if u put it on 'plane to watch' list. so you can really enjoy it when you are in the mood.
The story is actually quite realistic. Like i can understand how we as human sometimes can love another person. I also can understand how at first the wife want to keep her family but eventually just let it go or it will be more toxic. And most importantly that child. You see for children, parents is their world, so if their parent broke, then their wolrd is crumbling down.
