I think you should read it from the 1st chapter, not only because its a great novel but also becase there are more than a few details that arent either mentioned or completely different from how the drama portrayed it... like ML`s moment where he is "trowing" poem after poem at the royal banquet, it was so downplayed in the drama while in the novel was a WOW moment for the readers and very captivating so not onlydo I advise you to read it but also encourage you to do it
