I only signed up for an account here on MDL and even posted a review because of this series. I was always just a lurker. It has been more than a week since I finished the series, but I still feel empty, I still can't get over it. Apparently, the only way to get over Chugakusei Nikki is to watch it over and over and over again. This is exactly what I've been doing.
I won't be commenting on the drama anymore, everyone of you have already said (even more eloquently) that which I want to say. I just want to express my profound love for this drama- which now is my all-time favorite Asian drama. It touched my heart and my soul in so many ways.
The ending seemed somewhat abrupt given the very long and winding road which Akira and Hijira navigated just to be together. that's why I could only wish for a special or more preferably a second season where we could watch our beloved couple grow even more mature in love and in life together and as individuals.
