You're in the wrong room. If you like scifi thriller, go watch Mouse. Beyond Evil might be too much for you to handle.

Something shifted by the end of episode 11 and it’s not quite sitting well with me...rough transitions and sloppy…
I also find that the narration is still consistent with how it was presented from the beginning. The writer uses techniques that were consistent all throughout.. Perhaps, some find the revelations overwhelming.. Given so much were revealed all at once.. Which was really exciting for me! ???

Why does Jaehi work with the cops? Why is juwon so bent on DS? Why does he think himself clever when all he does…
These aren't criticisms... These are just (stupid) questions already addressed in the show... If you were paying attention.

Wow! I'm surprised how people get (personally) annoyed with HanJooWon... Don't we still get it?? That it is all part of the plot???

Well, in the beginning, sure he was quite annoying with being quite rude and so full of himself.. But I'm thinking it wouldn't be as fun and exciting as it is now if he was like any other Manyang character. There would also be nothing to look forward to if there isn't any room for character development. In the story, LDS is way ahead of years meaning, he won't be experiencing any changes in his personality any more, he's past that and we only see crumbs of it. None of us have even seen HanJooWon's 20years of being alone in England and how his mom ended up being dead. None of us have witnessed his struggles to be where he is now. Clearly, he has struggles given the strained relationship he has with dad.

If you're annoyed with HanJooWon, that's fine, only proves how effective an actor YeoJinGoo is. But please stop ripping the character off.. Let's just appreciate how the events in his and DongShik's lives will greatly change their relationship with each other and how they will influence each other's decisions in the coming episodes. I for one is grateful to witness a character like HanJooWon's... It isn't a conventional one and it is one interesting and relatable character.

Wait what??
I am not that smart to be able to write long comments like yours... But one thing is for sure.. I do not want to be watching dramas I can predict right away. It shouldn't be called a psychological thriller without it playing with your mind while keeping you on your toes. You mentioned that it keeps explaining things (paragraph 1) and yet you also mentioned that you still don't get it and that you're back to square 1... So.. Either you missed it (the explanation) or you totally missed it(the explanation). If you understood where it's going, you'd probably make your own theories like everybody else.. Then get it all wrong(like most of us) because writer-nim did a very good job that we didn't see it coming or going that way. Going back to square 1 isn't really a bad thing, don't be embarrassed or frustrated.. It means that it was well written. But then, I didn't really go back to square 1...like with completely no knowledge of what happened.. I went back there because I might've missed something crucial that could help solve the present mystery. Genres like this uses a great deal of judgement (of the given situation) and how you process pieces of information that was foreshadowed and scattered everywhere and ideally in almost all episodes. These 'foreshadows' prove how well thought of the story was. Things just don't pop out of nowhere.. Little things even facial reactions are crucial.. It tells a lot. But it takes a lot of brain cells. That being said, would you please tell me how you would've written it if you think you could've done better? Just curious. I'm sure a lot of us here are suckers for well-written stories.. (that's why we're watching Beyond Evil).

The funny part is the cop is asking the dead girl's dad about missing things, like phone/wallet, is in it the…
I think.. they, particularly Dong Sik, were asking about petty things like wallet and all because it's a trap. Haven't we already witnessed how Dong Sik (smart as he is) been deliberately leaving clues behind, setting up traps, carefully and intentionally making 'stupid' decisions.. At least that is how they were leading us to believe. In this show, not a single detail is left without meaning. Little things foreshadow bigger happenings. And just as we thought we've figured it out..all of a sudden we're left with nothing again. It's actually amazing how each episode has kept me guessing but wildly.. And up until now, I'm just literally letting my jaw drop as the mystery unfolds and folds again. Beyond Evil has been one of the strongest and most solid (psychological) plot I've ever watched. If you think you could tell me exactly how it ends... I'm all ears, I'll still watch it til the end, though, to see if your guess is right ? as for me... My guess is as good as anyone's tbh.. And I'm enjoying the thrill!!!
