Almost there are no normal characters in this drama, some of them are even very unlikable. And the funny thing is the most normal ones have the absolute worst taste in women, iykyk 😂
I really like this drama BUT... I'm utterly disappointed with the ending. it's a rushed and unsatisfied ending by how unfinished it is, cause there's gonna be another season.
I'm totally fine with the unfinished ending and even looking forward to season 2 if the original cast is back, but NOPE.... a completely new cast. that... not only makes me not looking forward to season 2 but also ruined the already rushed season 1 even more for me.
I rather have only 1 season of this drama with a finished ending than another season (the continuation of the story) but without the original main cast. It's just not gonna feel the same anymore... *sigh TT
I'm 6 episodes in and this drama is really solid so far with a potential rating of 9.0 to 10.0 from me... It's a little bit slow but I don't really mind it cause I'm kinda expecting it from a 40-episode drama tbh. and the fight scene tho.... it's just my type, not a flashy one but well-choreographed and when it hits, you can feel it 😁

Nah... I already dropped it on episode 20 (more like indefinite 'on hold) and yeah, this drama is way too long. With the problem it has, maybe I can finish it if it's 24 ep max, but 50? Nope... I rather watch another drama or start a new one 😂
Currently at ep 18 and ima be honest... this drama has a lot of problems, I mean god damn! 🤦♂️ and the biggest one for me is the FL character. I'm a big fan of Shen Yue, but even she can't make me like her character. Her character(Dong Shan Cai) biggest problem to me is how indecisive and ungrateful she is. Poor ML literally needs to be on the brink of death (from saving her) or at least go far away for a long period of time, for her to give a damn about him and her feelings towards him. And I'm not saying ML character is perfect either, cause every moment when there's a chance for their relationship to move forward, his goddang mouth always ruins everything from his "talk (rude) first before thinking". 😂
Again, if not cause I'm a fan of Shen Yue, Nicky Li, and Dylan, I would've already dropped this drama from the first 5 episodes. Now... I need a 2-day break (at least) before I continue to watch the next episode, and if the same problem keeps happening I may just drop this drama.
