Have watched the first 4 episodes and am missing the mystery / thriller element that kept me on toes in season 1. Whilst there are some hints to a larger mystery, at least I am not able to relate to it and am not driven as to what will happen next as I was in the first season
I watched some episodes and i really liked them and so i read the novel and then came back to watch the rest of the episodes. Compared to the novel, the drama is really average. The character development of Fan Xian in the novel is so beautiful and the character itself is so interesting. Unfortunately i could not see the lead doing justice to it, but then i don't know who could so i would not tag it as poor acting. But then, there were many supporting actors who actually gave close resemblance to the novel characters and those i really enjoyed. I still gave the drama a high score, because that lead me to read the novel.
Just watched the first 2 episodes. This seems to be poorly produced compared to the 1st season., especially the visuals. Am putting on hold now, may return if gets favourable review in the future.
I find it strange to see that Hae Ri is a NIS agent who is supposedly more equipped and adept than a civilian…
Completely agree.. Given the background of male lead, it is difficult to digest that he is able counter any move by anybody.. Especially with the emotional instability. While I am enjoying the drama till now.. Wish lsg tones down his abrupt spurts.. I understand the loss but even in real life I have rarely seen anybody being such emotionally imbalanced for days... And performing feats in this scenario seems a kind a challenge to one's intelligence
I know many people like it but i have decided to drop it....
Just watched the 4th episode and have decided to drop it. I was confused whether the drama wanted to focus on a eccentric genius doctor and dramatics around him (for which i would have referred the writer to House M.D.) or the mystery surrounding his past or romance and so waited till now to get clarity. Now i know i am not going to get it.
I have always felt that a true genius character depiction comes from the character itself but here the depiction comes by making all other less competent. Even worse is that it seemed like the genius character throwing tantrum like a spoiled child whilst other incompetent doctors are frustrated with the tantrums.
But the over dramatic scenes especially where the talk moves to other dimension made it clear to me that it is not my cup of tea.
So far so good. However, the young man old girl romance seems distracting. Wish we could see more of unicorn vs Barro and the how the lives of three women leads pan out.
