What a wholesome series, filled my heart with joy at every episode, I'm really going to miss it, it was my happy corner, I need to find a new series now to fill that void! π
It started off pretty slow but now it's finally catching up, I'm loving this a lot, historical dramas just hit differently for me and Billy Babe are delivering β₯
just watched eps 7....I'm totally confused at this point...are we in the past here or the present or maybe a dream?????
We are still in 1912, the Kaewta of the 40's is still remembering his previous life using a stick of incense he was given to him by the abbott in ep. 6
After having seeing him as a super confident alpha male/god of sex in Pit Babe, It's refreshing to see Pavel play a shy guy when being hit on by Thup, he's such an amazing actor.
I blinked and the episode was over! What is this sorcery?! Can we please have a 1 hour-long final episode? PLEASE?! Can they get together already so we have some quality time of them being lovey-dovey? Boy I'm so NOT ready to let them go :/
wow I'm really impressed by both leads, as I was watching the movie I kept on wondering the amount of time and dedication they must have put into training to be able to dance like that, they did an amazing job, they really looked like professional dancers, kudos to both of them!
Just one minor detail that I felt it was overlooked by the production (or maybe those who read the novel can enlight me, please don't hate me guys, I really loved this series), but why would they put a young Win's photo on his graveyard when he clearly was a grown up man when he passed way? Or were we still seeing what Alan was seeing when looking at the graveyard? (remembering Win as his younger version?). To me it would have made more sense to have an updated picture of Win on his graveyard, even If up to that point they had never showed us what Win looked like in his older days.
Started this series without knowing anything about it, felt confused af basically throughout all of it so the ending really was a shocker (I might be super dumb I guess). If you're reading this comment and you're unsure whether to start this or not based on the ratings (which are criminally low and unfair imo) stop hesitating and watch it, this is an amazing series that will blow your mind, highly recommended. 9/10
What a wholesome series, it's my weekly 25 minutes therapy session that helps me relieve stress and fatigue. So many likeable characters (Ryoto-san the greenest flag and highlight of this episode), I'm really going to miss this so much when it ends next week, definitely my favorite JBL of 2025!
Original Ogami: "Don't tell me... Are you so drunk you can barely stand? If you can't walk, call a cab home." π
Alternate world Ogami: "Kano, don't make me worry so much." - as he cleans the dirt off his face and picks him up from the floor damsel in distress style - "I'll take you home. It'd be bad If something happens to you." π
I can't wait to see original Ogami softening up to Kano in the last 2 episodes π
oh im gonna miss the second ogami so bad he was such a flirt
I think the original Ogami, deep inside, is as fluffy as the second one and we'll get to see it maybe in the final episode. Now that Kano is back and knows how to approach him and how he really feels about him he can work his way into his heart.
The actor who plays Ogami Seiji has such a cute smile. Heβs big, tall and handsome. Just imagine coming home…
Imagine spending a lazy Sunday afternoon cuddling with him on a couch, watching a movie or talking about silly stuff...π I'd be fully recharged to start the coming week!
I'd watch at least 10 episodes, the slow burn is killing me, only 2 episodes left, they're gonna rush the ending for sure, so we'll just have a few minutes of them being together If we're lucky, and that sucks, such a pity 'cause I love everything about this series, the 2 leads have great chemistry and they're gorgeous (that height difference is the cherry on top of the cake). They're honestly both so attractive that I need to rewatch the espisodes twice 'cause the first time I get distracted by their looks hahaha π
the way watarai pulled hioki down and asked him to marry him ππ theyre already married they just dont know…
when Watarai grabbed Hioki's hands and Haruki interrupted them after the marriage proposal but they kept holding each other's hands while talking to Haruki, that was so freaking adorable
