Kataoka: "what are you going to do If I get kidnapped?" Odajima: "I won't let it happen" ***3 seconds later Kataoka gets kidnapped*** The way they're trolling us just a little bit!
Tyler: "Give it some energy" ***CH proceeds to give it some energy*** Also Tyler: "That hurts" 😩😩😩😩 But overall, nothing's really happened since ep. 1 and it's getting boring not gonna lie...
I'm sorry but I couldn't stop laughing at the huge syringe + huge needle! It's like the toys we used while playing at the doctor + nurse when we were children! 😂like WTF!
Clearly imagined and thought as a gay romance that they had to turn into a bromance not to taint the reputation of mainstream actors and possibly "hurt" the sensitivity of the mainstream audience. I wish in 2026 there were no more stigma for actors to play gay roles, that's obviously not the case, even less in East Asia (South Korea, China, Japan...).
I loved Young and Elio last interaction, they were both so awkwardly shy they couldn't even look each other in the eye, they're both very caring and considerate towards those around themselves, they would make a great couple. I like the new guy, he was able to fit into the group immediately it almost felt like he was there from the start. As for Tyler, I thought at first he was being very outgoing, borderline cocky, but now it turns out it's a way to protect himself as he's a very sensitive guy, still not sure what to think about him and the dynamics happening with CH though, but I'd love to see an honest talk between them as they seem to be into each other.
It had started amazing but I felt like the magic kind of faded away along the way, the ending felt rushed as well. Still a very enjoyable series, definitely recommended.
They added a cringier layer to the stepbrothers in love trope by making one of them a semi-zombie! Well, at least they don't lack originality :) and to be honest it's all valid in an apocalyptic world, isn't it?
A Lie - from cold, ruthless mercenary to "I don't give a shit If there's a fucking apocalypse happening around me, I've got only heart eyes 😍 for my Li Zai". And I'm loving every bit of this.
Historical dramas are among my favourites, but I admit this was not particularly good. At the beginning it was nice, the slow burning got me going but then it went really meh with the no chemistry/cringe nc scene and ended with wtf is that ending? Next.
