I had read the novel the series "Addicted" was based on back in 2018 after having watched the series being so abruptly interrupted 'cause I really wanted to know how the story would unfold and end and damn, the car accident scene all of a sudden reminded me of how terribly gut wrenching that moment was also in the novel! After so many years having the story finally represented on screen as well (even though it's softened in many ways and with different actors) is still so much appreciated. For those who never read the novel and are interested in this story I highly suggest you do although bear in mind the novel is kinda "hardcore" (more than Addicted the series). Anyway, needless to say I really liked this softer version of the story and I really can't wait for a season 2. Meanwhile I'm gonna miss Su Yu and Wu Bi a lot β₯
Takeda Kouhei has no business showing up here looking like that and making me crave a season 2 of Old Fashion…
The moment I saw him it reminded me of what an amazing series Old Fashion Cupcake is and inevitably made a comparison with this series making it look even more average than what it actually is lol
I have a feeling at some point Thee out of love will turn against his boss Thatthep to protect Thaenthai upon realizing how much he cares about him and I cannot wait for that moment π
Ok but Charn flirting skills are on another level (Film's acting is so on point!), the man could make a statue fall for him!π³ Also, I'm invested in Thee - Thaenthai even more than the main couple, like THEY NEED TO END UP TOGETHER OR I'LL GO TO BANGKOK AND RIOT!π₯π₯
I might be wrong but I don't see them kissing in the last 4 episodes and to be honest it's okay I was mentally prepared for a bromance, what makes me sad is next week is going to be the last one and I'm not ready to let them go π£
That "we're both men" line felt like a punch in my guts... I was hoping I would have been spared from this outdated garbage now that it's 2023... silly me... π
It really breaks my heart whenever I think of all LGBTQ+ couples who can't get married and therefore can't be legally recognized as family members and have all the rights that come with it. It's just ridiculous and deeply unfair π and I'm glad this series is raising awareness about this topic as well.

China - Stay with me
Taiwan - Stay by my side
Hong Kong - Stay still
Did they do it on purpose or what? π€£
