Usually students in the key classes are reassigned every semester or every year according to their grades, and students with poorer grades can be promoted to the key classes by improving their grades. I don't know why their classes are fixed in the drama, maybe each school and district has different rules
What exactly is a key class student. I get that it is the smarter class but does being in that class get them…
Typically the top 100 students in a school are placed in key classes, for example class 1 may consist of the top 30 students and class 2 of 31-60 students or it could be randomly assigned. Key classes are generally considered to have a better learning atmosphere and resources, and of course the courses are more difficult. I think it's kind of similar to the AP program in American high schools.
so did she choose to go to prison in the end or what?
Yes, they both ended up in prison (juvenile detention to be exact), and supposedly they would be out pretty soon because it was an accident and they were both underage. The boy, on the other hand, no longer has to be sentenced to the felony of rape and murder.
I didn't quite understand the ending. The police car scene where it seems that they're talking to each other,…
From what I can remember, the police baited her out by telling her that the boy is over 18 yrs old (which is a lie), so he is no longer a minor and will be convicted of felony (underage criminals usually end up in juvenile detention center instead of prison and they will get out in couple of years). She broken down after hearing that and gave herself in. So most likely they both ended up in juvenile detention center, they got out years later and she became a teacher and the boy still looks after for her
