does anyone know where this will ve available for European countries? it seems like WeTV isn't going to have it? And Viki still says coming soon as apposed to starting tomorrow
International fans that always grip on Mangotv for subs should organise themselves like the translators of viki…
it's more the fact that MangoTV has an international platform which caters and charges international fans a fee, the least we can expect as paying costumers is to be provided with reasonable subtitles, all the other apps (ie iQIYI, Youku and WeTV) do this. Also Mandarin cannot be learnt overnight, some of us are actively trying to learn but definitely still need subtitles. It's exciting to watch a drama while on air with everyone, but if we don't have subtitles it pushes out a bunch of people who rely on those. Ultimately if you're going to target things to an international audience and they pay you a subscription then semi good subtitles should be the very least we expect

I think eventually they would both cultivate and become more adapted. But that's often not the point of xianxia. Our main characters are never meant to fit in. Again I don't think it's to much of a big deal in the grand scheme of things - sometimes xianxia doesn't make sense in certain little bits

I haven't read the novel, but in the show you can see food being provided for both of them, as well as both worlds adapting to their needs. They both have good and bad inside of them that's what the twin Flower thing is, they also both have to adapt - QK would never be able to pass into the Heaven realm anyways because she wouldn't make it past the bridge since that's not heaven will
To all Xianxia aficionados: Setting aside that this is just an enjoyable fantasy romp and is not (to my mind)…
Humans can cultivate - hence why you see Taner being taught skills and her powers also coming in. I think the air thing was just something that didn't occur to the immortals I think it's done to show how out of touch with the other realms they are - realistically speaking if the switch hasn't happened QingKui would've just put up with it because she's the more rule follower put together sister initially
In ep 30, when her identity got revealed I actually think it should be no big deal because she is still a princess…
If shouldn't but you have to add on the fact that she was born under a bad omen, she's told to be the harbinger of bad things. The Emperor obviously sees his son has changed (rightfully so) and blames everything on her, her tittle here matters very little.
i just wanna ask why is viki gatekeeping this 💀
I think its because it's a Kocowa drama- and Kocowa only exists in USA, so there's shows that they won't let Viki broadcast outside of USA. Which sucks especially for European fans
I think for me I am so picky with subs 😅 other sites do them, not sure why MangoTV doesn't. I do agree modern you can just about get by, the historical is just a no no
