Same here. I couldn't feel the romance between them and it was kinda cringey for me.

Aside from the other wonderful things, one of the most things that made me fall in love with this drama is the male lead character, which had that awesome combination of courage, shyness, innocence, honesty, hardness, responsibility, love and humility to his subordinates, respect towards the female lead character and finally his amazing musical talent. A combination we never used to see before in Hyun Bin's previous dramas or in other Kdrama in general. I think Captain Ri character will always be one of my favourite characters for a long time.

Gooosh this was cheesy as hell. came here after a bad experience with Park Min Young in Secretary Kim thinking she might have chosen something different, but hell no both were awful and ended up dropping them. Guess this will be my last time watching her in any drama.

One of the main things I most admire about this drama is the maturity of the characters. The female lead was strong from the start to the end, didn't behave as a silly teenager and wasn't dependent on the male lead ( like in most Kdramas).
Also the male lead character was great who respects the female lead and doesn't grab her hand and drag her or insults her every single moment.

The absurd plot cannot be justified as "fate". fate can bring two persons together, but it won't force them to fall in love because this would be their own choice. An adult man cannot have a relationship with an underage girl then justifies it as fate , otherwise it will make him an immature irresponsible character.

I couldn't make it to the 4th episode and dropped it after that. I couldn't ship the two main leads and find their romance kinda forced &cringey with that HUGE age gap. I couldn't even understand how could someone like Goblin who has lived for 1000 years and met many strong great women has fallen for this "kid" who IMO has nothing special. Also the female character was annoying most of the time that I couldn't bear anymore.
Sorry if my opinion will hurt some who love this drama.

I'm like you . I hate the FL to be weak and crybaby, but to be honest, I did not feel in any scene that Siri's crying was unnecessary or exaggerated. I liked that Siri's character was strong and not dependent on the ML as in almost every Kdramas.
But c'mon who can hold tears -no matter how strong he is- whenever his beloved ones get hurt badly or leave with no way back or meet again. I think Son yi jin nailed her role so perfectly even though I'm not fan of her.

I agree with you, I liked the drama so much, but I wished it was more realistic. I hated all those coincidences that brought the main leads together. I hated their previous encounter, I don't
even understand why they had to have a previous encounter, why couldn't they meet and fall in love like any two mature persons. I really got bored with that cliché of the previous encounter we have already seen in tons of Kdrama. I've loved this drama that I wanted it to be unique in everything but unfortunately it wasn't :(

This will be one of the sweetest and most addictive dramas I have ever seen, although I am not fan of their previous encounters and all those coincidences which brought them together and I would prefer something more realistic . Also still sad for Seo Dan. :(

I agree with you a lot. I was pissed off by the writer’s way in running the events in the last episodes and resorting to killing the two main leads many times, which made me feel bored. Also I'm not a fan of their previous encounter .

Apart from all, the cinematography in this drama is breathtakingly beautiful.

WOOW, I've just known that the final episode length will be 111 minutes, means we have 26 more minutes , hope for a satisfying end , Amen.

I think they overkill the main leads too much that it becomes a bit boring .
Also that NIS scene at the end crack me up :)

That kiss under the table got me nauseated and I couldn't finish the film, and yes I agree with you in every word you say. This is very bad example for the young girls.

Soo slow paced and boring , barley made it to the halfway then dropped it.

Surprisingly, the show was nice, although there were some scenes in which I hated the female lead character for giving up her pride and running after the jerk, arrogant male lead most of the time. The development of their love was somewhat weak especially from the side of male lead character.
The acting was excellent and all actors do great job. This my first time to watch Kim Sun Ah and I love her she is very talented and charm.
Overall this is a pleasing drama especially if you have low expectations like me :)
I give it 7/10.
