After a long slump, I decided to try a cdrama again to change my usual tastes. The last time I had a kick for a cdrama it was ALL IS WELL (Yeah! It's been a while). So after the opening of several cdramas that I dropped as usual, I came across this one without having read any information about synopsis, actors or anything. God! What a pleasant surprise it was.
This is a series that left a deep impression on me, almost everything was perfect, from the cinematography, to the casting and the chemistry of the actors, a veritable feast of the senses. Finally a Chinese drama where the ML and the FL were truly mature, they made meaningful decisions, faced life with courage and common sense.
Very often I watch a series without really getting attached to couples even if I love the drama, but there it is impossible not to root this couple, THEY ARE THE COUPLE. OMG! the chemistry between them: Explosive. It’s one of the most striking things about this drama, the proof that chemistry between characters doesn’t necessarily need to be tactile, everything can be played in the eyes and body language. Bravo!
Knowing the difficulties I have to watch a cdrama until the end, hope to find another gem like that soon. The story is however relatively simple but so well told that you feel a great emptiness once it’s finished. This drama is a tribute to peoples and to the prejudices they have to overcome all their lives, one of the messages that I picked up and that I liked the most is never let anyone or anything define you, you are who you are, as imperfect as others say you are, you are the result of your efforts and only the sky should be your limit. Being perfectly imperfect is not a defect, it’s just a way of defining your uniqueness. 9/10.
I'm not a fan of this writer's dramas except for Mr Sunshine, I've come to understand that I'm not the audience she's aiming for. I have the same concern with the actress, so far none of her works have pleased me, but I love everything Ahn Gil Ho touches, so there is hope for me. He is one of those rare directors who make me watch anything just at the sight of their name.
I find the comments quite funny, no one thought for a moment that part 2 is actually just the events that happened before part 1? The life of Naksu and the other protagonists, the origin of their story. I very much doubt that this is a continuation of the story of Part 1.
And even if it’s a continuation of events, wait to see what it is and then get a real opinion of the work. Who knows! Some of you may love it more.
A meaningful ending. Growing up is understanding that love isn’t always enough in a romantic relationship. The writer wants to remind us of something important very often the final destination of a first love is the breakup, even if it's with your soul mate.
Moreover, the purpose of the drama was to tell the story of the journey of NHD and her friends at the dawn of their adult lives, not to know who the father of her daughter is. Either way, it could be anyone that it wouldn’t have changed anything to her story with BYJ.
My choices are often very unpopular, although I respect and like some on this list, very few of them can push me to watch a drama just at the sight of their name, many others are unfortunately actors that I avoid because of the disappointment I had with their work.
My top list is mostly composed of non popular actors but with a bluffing gameplay. 1. Cha Seung Woo 2. Kim Nam Gil 3. Nam Goo Min 4. Lee Geung-young. 5. Yoo Jae-myung.
The others, it’s really not in order because I can’t rank them. Ju Ji Hoon, Sun Dong Il, Son Seok-koo, Lee Kyung Hyung, Lee Sang Yeob, Ji Sung, Jang Hyuk, Jang Seung-jo, Lee Joon Hyuk.
It was quite interesting but not as exciting as what I expected. Special mention to all the actors, the main and the secondary were majestic, especially those who played the serial killers, even if the Trinity Killer in Season 4 of Dexter will still be the barometer of quality of an actor in the role of a sociopath for me, I still took my hat off to them.
I have a real issue with acting in this drama, the ML and his ponytail friend are very, very bad actors, I feel like I see a school play at their games. To be honest, the rest of them aren’t beasts either, but they easily look like movie veterans in front of these two. And why does Gorya shout so much?!
Frankly it could have been pleasant, a drama that can be watched even if it will not mark you but due to the flaws mentioned before I dropped it.
Don’t mind the fans and even though I know that all tastes are in nature. The ML and his ponytail friend are very, very bad actors, I feel like I’m seeing a school play at their games. To be honest, the rest of them aren’t beasts either, but they easily look like movie veterans in front of these two. Anyway, it’s mediocre!
I hope there will be the same actors, they have each been excellent in their acting, if Tae Al Ha, Saya and Ta Gon are played by someone else I doubt it will have the same impact for the purists of the first hour.
The disadvantage of having read a work before the adaptation is to come out of it very disappointed. And this drama was unfortunately no exception to the rule. All the changes made did not help the story at all, on the contrary it rather degraded it.
The choice of actors in my opinion was also not very judicious. I have already seen them in several other works and frankly they are excellent. The problem with this drama stems from the fact that it is taken from a webtoon and so we have a clear image of who are the protagonists of the story. And how their emotions reveal themselves in each scene. From the webtoon emerges a very great chemistry between ML and FL, both as lovers and enemies. Their confrontations are always full of electricity, you can see and even feel the tension hovering in the air. Which is not at all the case in the drama, there is no chemistry between the 2 heroes, which makes each of their scenes rather boring. And that's a shame. The story of the webtoon unfolds a bit like a Mind game between the ML and the other characters that keeps the viewer in suspense all along. And frankly I didn't experience anything like that during this drama. That said, it remains watchable, but very quickly forgettable too, nothing exciting but somewhat entertaining.
I must be the only one who is not excited about this drama because I've been trying to finish it for a year. Because of my OCD, Lol I am forced to finish it, when I have spent half of a work I feel obliged to finish it even if it is mediocre. I don't know what's wrong with me in this drama, the story is pretty interesting and the actors are good. Is it the direction or the execution? I've never had a problem with slow pace drama, so that's not it. And I had the same issues with the 1st opus. I think I would have liked this drama enormously if it was a book.
I think I've watched all these dramas except Memorist which I dropped after a few episodes. With the exception of FoE, Kairos and Missing (a very nice surprise by the way), none of these dramas have aroused in me the strong tension that you feel when you watch a thriller, and you look forward to each episode. For my part the other thrillers that have aroused this excitement are: Black, The Defendant, Stranger 1 & 2, Children of Nobody, Tunnel, The Good Detective, a super simple but well written story, Beyond Evil, Signal, and the Japanese Samayou Yaiba who is more drama than thriller but it's beautiful.
OKT is rather clever, he practices a move as old as the world to perfection, Divide and Conquer. He tells them true stories by adding two three little lies and here they are all in confusion, in the middle of an existential crisis. He has understood that he does not need to do more to sow misery for his enemies
Although I have specific preferences in the dramas I watch, I remain open to other horizons and considering the positive reviews I saw, I thought why not try this one?! So, I watched until the 3rd or 4th episode and frankly I didn’t like it at all. Like the other versions I dropped it. I find the protagonists very immature, They scream a lot and it’s pretty tiresome. But what bothered me the most in this version is the acting of the F4, especially the male lead. You can see that he’s acting, and it's so not natural. He’s absolutely not convincing in the transcription of his feelings. Which in the end turn me off... On the other hand the female lead is a good actress. Her game isn’t perfect yet but of the 5 main characters she’s the best. And we have to admit that her character was written pretty well.

Fight For My Way and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, frankly didn't like these 2, but they deal with the subject and They're quite popular.
I need Romance 2
All the Reply.
