She dated the 2nd ML for a while (if you consider what they did as dating, more like manipulating someone into a relationship, which is more obvious in the original version). Still, she and ML were already broken up during this time. There were some misunderstandings about cheating prior to ML and FL breaking up, due to some intentional acts by the 2nd ML; FL was unaware of this. There was only one instance I can think of that one might consider cheating, which is an airport scene where the 2nd ML kisses the FL. She didn't respond to the kiss, but also didn't stop him, and at this point, she was still in a relationship with the ML. However, the ML and FL relationship is quite complex; in the original novel, she is portrayed as cold, heartless, and manipulative, while he is depicted as possessive and controlling, a quality that the original live-action adaptation highlighted more effectively than this version. This version tones down many of the toxic themes present in the novel and the original drama.

The original is better, but this version is not bad. This version tones down the toxicity of each character. The FL in this version has a little more warmth, and she is less manipulative. ML is less aggressive and angry. 2ML is still the worst out of the three. He is still an annoying hypocrite. I am not sure which version of Luo Xi is the worst—maybe this one, since he has too many scenes.

Goodbye, My Princess is on another level when it comes to angst; its level of angst is hard to beat.

I agree with you. There was something refreshing about the relationship between Fu Ling and Chong Zhao. There was substance to their story, Dai Lu Wa and Chang Hua Sen would be ideal leads in another drama.

When he is hot and a good actor so, you have to excuse the illogical and unnecessary mess of the last two episodes. I would have given this drama a higher rating, but the last two episodes were not well-written; it was a letdown. Overall, it is a watchable show, but it really could have been better.

Rao Jing and Zhao Fang were the highlights of this show for me. I was well-invested in their story and enjoyed it. Their chemistry was palpable, making every scene between them feel genuine, heartfelt, and relatable. I normally don't like secondary couples because they are never written well. However, this is one case where they are written very well and, in my opinion, the best-written couple on the show.

You are a brave soul

I finished this one a while ago, and I enjoyed it. The best part of this drama is the kid; he is the cutest thing ever, and his chemistry with the leads is also terrific. Overall, it is an enjoyable, fluffy, and fun drama.

Here are my thoughts on this drama:

This hot mess, 'Circle of Love,' is enjoyable if you enjoy slap/kiss dramas and don't take it seriously. I would not recommend this if you're looking for fluffy, fun drama. However, if you want something wild, toxic, and sensational, this is the one for you. On a Thai slap/kiss scale, this drama is below mid; on a Chinese one, it is a good one, maybe one of the best.

The themes of revenge, blood feuds, amnesia, and toxic relationships are similar to Maid Revenge. The leads have hot chemistry; their kisses and steamy scenes are delightful. Overall, if you liked Maid's Revenge, you'll like this too because of its similar theme, better acting, a smarter female lead, and more steamy scenes. If you're looking for something wild with a little twist and shocks for some, you'll probably enjoy it. However, don't take it too seriously and watch it for entertainment value. There are some sadistic characters in this.

In this drama, all the characters are morally gray, one of its most appealing aspects. The characters are interesting, and the story keeps you engaged until the end. I predicted most deaths in this show except the 2FL I was actually shocked; and yes, I predicted the murder-suicide ending, so fitting for such a drama. It is hands down one of my favorite endings, which is why I would rate this a 9. without that ending, maybe an 8 or an 8.5.

Reading the comments on the ending it seems that I am in the minority, cause that ending was good.

While I might be in the minority here, I think and hope this drama has a tragic ending. I need a good tragedy. I dread love triangles so I am shocked that I actually finished this drama, but what kept me intrigued was not the romance if that was it I would have dropped this show , however, it was pretty captivating in terms of character back story, with their traumas, and most importantly the acting. This drama has some raw emotional scenes with Yang Zi and Zhang Wan Yi. I really look forward to more shows with him. This man is talented.

In the event that it is not tragic, I hope she will be alone in terms of romance and continue to practice medicine. She has friends and family now that she can live as long as she can. In all honesty, she doesn't need a romantic relationship. From my point of view, the only MLSs with whom she had raw chemistry were the Zhang Wan Yi and Tan Jian Ci characters. These two MLS also had a better written and more intriguing storyline outside of the whole romance aspect with the FL. The most enthralling and emotionally charged scenes were with Zhang Wan Yi's character, very memorable scenes. The intense, explosive, and shocking scenes with Tan Jian Ci's character, still speechless about some of the things he did, they sure were the most entertaining to watch. This pretty much describes their chemistry with the FL. As for the other two MLs, they were not compelling and pretty generic in terms of character and storyline. If you are hesitating about watching, I will tell you that it is worth watching because it is very unconventional and enjoyable. The show has some compelling characters with rich personalities, you don't have to watch for the romance, because the romance is actually not the best part of this drama.

This drama is a guilty pleasure

Whenever I think about this drama, I think about episode 13, that tent scene. Everything about that scene is on point, from the direction to the acting, from the emotions to the soundtrack. It was intense, powerful, and heartbreaking. I always have tears in my eyes when I watch it. It's one of the best and most memorable scenes. There is nothing like Good Bye, My Princess, a bittersweet rollercoaster of emotions and heartache.
