Yes, quite right you are. I do have friends who prefers more realistic stories like Egoist or what we are more familiar with as Western gay movies, series or shorts. They still do watch BLs even though homw much they criticize about them as they find that Western productions are quite slow and Asian BLs are more available these days but lacking realism in their stories, should I say they are more fantastical.
Even as it is, as we see boys love nowadays; production companies now have better access to online streaming platforms and the proliferation of direct to video boys love series (not sourced from any written material / made for video) giving writers, directors and producers more freedom beyond what can only be allowed on a public television channel. Just a thought for everyone here: Dramas should be more realistically done the right way and I'm not one of those people who thinks women get pregnant from just a simple kiss. We all got born from hardcore sex, without it we won't be here at all. So, please stop thinking that sex is dirty, It's natural to all humans. It turned out that the WeTV version was CUT to the max that it's missing several scenes that are present on the GagaOOlala and YouTube versions. We'll see on following episodes as WeTV and iQiyi are notorious on branding BLs with the UNCUT wording.
No VPN was used during playback to access all three versions.
