Title Bad and Crazy Spoiler
what happened to boss yang and how is she connected to them?
Not fully sure, but from what they revealed so far, she just cared a lot about Andrei who now got killed by Jun Yun Ho, and now she wants revenge. She threatened RSY to tell her who it is, so she could kill him, but instead they took her in for cooperation in investigation. In return, she wants to see his face in court (since she's pracitcally a witness).

There were quite a few plot points I could predict from a mile away in the two new episodes. The fact that K was just being manipulated into thinking he killed someone, that the therapist was Yun Ho, that RSY didn't shoot him, that his mom would get manipulated, and that he wouldn't swallow the pills, as well as the fact that K wouldn't disappear that soon. I also knew right away that Jeung Heun would run away as soon as RSY picks up the phone and goes outside. So I ended up being more surprised at the fact that I could of been one of the secret writers for the show, rather than the plot-twists.

That being said, I still enjoyed the execution of the reveals. Especially K's scenes, specifically the one where he said he's RSY's hero (that was so sweet, I was melting). I hated seeing Andrei being killed like that, after putting in so much effort to escape the prison, and for nothing. I actually felt really bad for Boss Yang, and started rooting for her - to the point where I even thought that it would of been much easier if RSY just told her who the culprit is and let her deal with him.

I started off this drama hating Oh Kyung Tae, because he was just a punching bag. But after waking up from that coma, I started to like him more and more, because he was never useless after that, and actually put in some work. And now, after he told RSY to stay strong and that he trusts him at his lowest point, he became one of my favourite characters. In fact, I actually started to hate Lee Hui Gyeom the way I hated OKT at the beginning. She literally never solves anything, never helps out, and only loves to talk and take credit. She's really getting on my nerves.

Currently, my favourite characters are RSY, OKT, K, Boss Yang, and the Heart Mender therapist. I also like the silly attorney.

I mean, so far there have been a few moments (even a kiss) but it's defintiely not romance focused and it doesn't…
😅yeah I totally get it, that's also why I always enjoy the shows with little to no romance in them the most.

I mean, K-Dramas are generally unrealistic. You'd enjoy it more if you'd just take it for what it is - fiction.…
I get what you mean, but again, for me it's easy to watch unrealistic dramas like that, because that's where a lot of entertainment is - the fact that it's fiction, so it being unrealistic just means that the possibilities are endless. I love all the drama and tension, 'cause it makes for an interesting watch - or maybe I'm just secretly sadistic.
Well, I'm just a bit confused 'cause I looked at your list and a lot of the dramas that you ranked low or dropped were also ones that I didn't like either that are usually very popular (Vincenzo, Voice, Descendants of the Sun, Goblin) and then there were a lot that are underrated and you ranked high which I also liked (Defendant, The Guest, Doctor Stranger, Hello Monster, Yong Pal). But then there are dramas which are similar to some of the others you liked, that you rated low or dropped (Come and Hug Me, Flower of Evil). So, I tried to figure out a pattern with your likes and dislikes, but I guess I couldn't, haha.
Also, you said something about not liking the character going through too many traumatic situations/experiences. I guess that's where the main difference in taste lies? Yeah, I mean, Ryu Su Yeol already got beaten, humiliated, drugged, shot, drowned, and now stabbed. But I personally enjoy seeing main leads struggle a lot, especially male leads since it doesn't happen very often (it's usually female leads that go through a lot of shit, and men always saving the day). So I guess I just really love the reverse trope and seeing male leads being really vulnerable. It makes for great character development, and conflict, and drama, which I thrive on. (other examples: Extracurricular, Strangers from Hell, One Ordinary Day).
So, in conclusion, I can't figure out your taste at all from your watchlist, because it feels like all your likes and dislikes contradict each other XD.

Damn, Korean cancel culture is insane, compared to the Western. You have Western celebrities doing drugs, being sexist, going to prison, and even rappers admitting to killing people in their songs and they're still going strong. Then you have Korean celebrities that will get cancelled from bullying allegations from centuries ago, or even get cancelled because a random post accuses them of something with no proof. Why can't we ever just find a nice middle ground? It's like life or death up in here. That's why cancel culture is so stupid.

Well, I was just commenting on the realism aspect of things, because your comment sounded like you didn't enjoy the drama cause it wasn't realistic. Hmm, I disagree with the level of K-Dramas declining, personally. Have you watched Move to Heaven yet? That one is on the more realistic side of things, and very emotional and real. I also didn't see D.P. and Extracurricular on your list, I thought those were pretty good.

Title Bad and Crazy Spoiler
After watching the recent episode, I narrowed down the suspect list to two people:
The therapist - he's related to the youth shelter, he's been introduced late in the story as soon as we get to RSY's past, the suspicion was shaken off him too quick, and he's acting too nice.
Andrei - Yun Ho's dad was a drug dealer and now Andrei is too, Yun Ho was shown to have an insane personality with that crazy smile and so was Andrei when he slaughtered those cops. Also, Andrei just generally gives off this crazy vibe, not to mention he's a cold-blooded killer, which Yun Ho seems to be as well. Also, the way he told RSY "long time no see" felt as if he wasn't just referring to the time they met with the assemblyman. Their connection felt much deeper than that.

Also, although we're reaching the climax of the story, the drug dealers haven't shown up for two episodes, but they're coming back now when we're reaching the end. We still don't know anything about them, or the eyeball drugs and how they're related to everything.

Title Bad and Crazy Spoiler
Okay, I need to clean up my thoughts before the next week's episodes.
Things I'm 100% sure of and my observations:
* The mystery person is someone from RSY's past.
* The girl that was gaslighted to target RSY (Yong Joo) was using the eyeball drug, so this means the drug dealers (Boss Yang/Andrei) will be related to RSY's past somehow and will become a big plot point.
*Although the villains keep changing and there seems to be no correlation between anyone or between most of these cases, there is only one thing that seems to connect all these bad guys - The Eyeball Drug. The Assemblyman was working for them, Captain Kim was working for them, the guy Andrei killed was using their drug, Yong Joo was using that drug. Every single case seems to come back to that.
* The drug dealers didn't show up for the whole of ep.8
* After RSY opened the door in ep.8, K didn't show up for the rest of the episode. However, we can see him in the ep.9 preview and it doesn't seem like anything is wrong.
* Moving on to RSY's past, it seems like we're reaching the climax of the story, so the show tied up all the non-related villains stories to focus solely on RSY's internal struggles and past trauma. However, they didn't tie up the drug dealers storyline, and even got Andrei to break out. That means they are likely the main boss fight.
*RSY and his boss are in the Anti-corruption Unit, but they are corrupted themselves. (bribery, turning a blind eye, etc.) Kim Gye Sik and his boys are in the Narcotics Unit, but they do business with drug dealers. Kinda ironic.
* When RSY's dad died, he said he was adopted right away. I thought he went to the orphanage, but apparently he was found by his brother on the street. RSY doesn't remember the day he was brought in to live with his new family, because it happened on the same day his dad died, which he has no recollection of.
*Boss Yang and RSY haven't even met yet. Actually, she has only seen Hui Gyeom.
* We haven't heard anything about RSY's mom. We don't even know what happened to her.
* RSY is somehow connected to the youth shelter.

My theories and predictions:
* K is a manifestation of a real person from RSY's past. So - K made a donation to the shelter not knowing why, and later on we come back to this shelter again to meet this weird therapist. Since we keep coming back here, this place might be important. I'm thinking that maybe, as a kid, RSY met a friend at the shelter during those six months he doesn't remember, and K takes after that friend. That friend was probably heroic, and helped out RSY during his rough childhood. Also, this friend might be the same person that burned the house down and is after RSY currently - but that might be a bit of a stretch.
* The eyeball drug might have been supplied to RSY's dad too. What if it's the thing that messed up his dad somehow? This specific drug is seen to mess people up real bad. What if that's how people get manipulated and controlled - I mean, the show does have a Fantasy tag.
* The drugs dealers will play a big part in the upcoming episodes, they will possibly be at the centre of everything.
* The mystery culprit might be a woman, although my mind automatically suspects a man.
* In the next few episodes that are left, they will tell us more about RSY's mom. Maybe she'll even be related to everything somehow. I've seen someone say that Boss Yang might be RSY's mom but I HIGHLY doubt it. The actress that plays her is 8 yrs younger than Lee Dong Wook.

Who's the mystery person from RSY's past - Possible Culprits:
* Boss Yang/Andrei - They are shown as some real bad villains, but ultimately, we know nothing about them. Nothing about their plans or motivations. Boss Yang could be directly involved with RSY. Not to mention, she seems to be the only one to not care about money, unlike everyone else. It looks like her motivation lies elsewhere.
* The second therapist - Although the show is trying to take our suspicion off him, I don't buy it. He seems very creepy from the very beginning. The show might be trying to pull a Scream on us - make a guy really suspicious, have the main cast acknowledge that he's suspicious, and then have them find out he's innocent and have them trust him, so that the viewers end up trusting him too. It seems like the writers would know we would find him suspicious right away, so they pointed it out to make us think that 'maybe we were wrong'. They made him get stabbed to make us sympathise, but the fact that they didn't kill him makes me more suspicious. Also, he's too nice for no reason. He's the obvious choice.
* Yeom Geun Soo - The mystery guy is supposed to be a gaslighter. So, I know this therapist is like a clown, like the comedy relief. But what if that's just a cover-up? I mean, if he acts so clueless that even RSY points out he's nothing compared to the other therapist, isn't that the perfect cover to hide a sinister manipulator? Now, that would be the plost twist of the century.
* O Kyung Tae - This one is even more of a stretch, but again - a gaslighter is someone who can easily manipulate people. OKT is all nice and righteous, and everyone loves him and trusts him. He could easily manipulate someone if he just hid his true identity. This is not very likely to happen, but it's worth mentioning.
* Ryu Dong Yeol - Another unlikely suspect, but worth mentioning. So, RDY was the one who found RSY on the street and brought him home on the day of the fire. If he's the mystery culprit, what if he set the house on fire to free RSY from his dad, and then took him in right away? Maybe RSY forgot everything because of the shock.

I honestly don't see the resemblance to Vincenzo unless it's just a reference to the overthetop humour.
I'm talking about the genre, not the plot.

In the filming pictures (stills), there's shown a picture pf Park Du Sik cutting off Hyun Soo's call in prison, I believe it says it's ep.3. But I didn't see the scene in the show. Is it just me that's missing it? Did they cut it out or is it only available on the Coupang Play version? Am I missing something? Thats the only scene that's shown in the pictures that I didn't see. (on page 5 in photos)

I've started watching it mainly cause of Wi Ha Joon. He was quite awesome in "Midnight", so I wanted to check…
I mean, not sure if this is what it is, but maybe they're trying to represent co-consciousness and co-fronting? "Co-consciousness describes switching without amnesia, so that if one part is out going about their day, another part is aware of what is happening."
And: "Co-fronting or co-hosting refers to a process where more than one part is out, inhabiting the body at the same time."
For most survivors with DID, "seeing" and speaking to their alters happens internally - inside the mind - often including a landscape called an "internal world". Communication may happen through passively-influenced thoughts, face-to-face (in each other's respective bodies, via the internal world), or through “voice” communication heard in the mind. You can't communicate with alters by seeing them outside of you and talking to them like regular people, unless you're hallucinating, which is usually a psychotic symptom, which I'm guessing RSY doesn't have. So maybe they're just using that image to represent RSY talking to K inside of his head?
Tine Jan 9, 2022
At first, I wasn't sure about the whole split personality. I thought it would ruin the special bond between RSY and K, but the more we get in, the more I start to not mind. Sometimes, I even end up appreciating the representation we're getting, and it makes the story and the mystery more interesting. Though I'm preparing myself for heartbreak at the end, similar to Kill Me Heal Me, where K and RSY end up becoming one, and K will have this sad goodbye. I'm already too attached, that I sometimes even forget he's not real. The plot started off fairly simple, but the further we get, the more complicated it gets - when one bad guy is taken care of, another one shows up and rocks the waters. And to be fair, I don't really mind. I always end up getting bored, if we focus on one bad guy throughout the whole series. I'm always left with a bunch of questions at the end, which is not necessarily a bad thing, if the show ends up answering them all in the end. I can also totally see myself feeling empty once the show is over in two weeks, not knowing what to watch, and looking for similar stuff and not being able to find it.

Therapist one of the bad guy?! I thought his character isnt that important and is there just for comedy and help…
I meant the new one that showed up in ep.8. The more serious one. Unless you haven't watched the newest episode, then it's somewhat of a spoiler.
On Bad and Crazy Jan 9, 2022
I feel like we let the therapist off a bit too, early. I'm still suspicious. Also, I noticed that we didn't see the Russians for the whole of ep.8. But still, I feel like this K-Drama gets better with each episode, unlike others that would get worse with time. I thought I would hate the split personality, because I thought it would ruin the bromance, but I find myself not caring anymore. Actually, the more I think about it, there's not really much DID representation in K-Dramas. The only other popular one I can think of is Kill Me Heal Me.

P.S. On a totally non-related note, Boss Yang is kinda cute. Just me?

Why does everyone like this drama so much?? It fell really flat for me and you already know who the bad guys are.…
I wonder about that too. Everyone seems to be gushing about how amazing this drama is, but I couldn't find out what it was that was so amazing. I thought that maybe I'm just not smart enough to enjoy it, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. Definitely thought it would be more dark, but I just felt totally bored.
