Dujupsorn kind of set the standard for lakorn. I am not a fan of lakorn because of their ridiculous plots but this one is an exception. The production and screenwriter did their homework and created a great drama for the viewers to enjoy. It has decent pacing, deep characters, good cinematography, visually pleasing and the lead couple has the best chemistry I’ve ever seen in a Lakorn series by far. This will be in my all time feel-good binge-watch-worthy fave list for a long time. I’ll always be fond of Dujupsorn 💗

Her character is so one dimensional, it’s nothing fun coming from her. I hope too, they will focus on the different class status and their romance.

Cheewan and Saruj have a plenty of screen time which was a delight to watch. Their chemistry is 💯 PP embodies Cheewan perfectly. The scene when Saruj and Cheewan on the boat is like a pivotal moment for Saruj to realise he actually likes Cheewan, romantically hahaha. The answers he chose described Cheewan but Cheewan didn’t know cause she was focused in comparing Cheewa and Saruj’s answers 😂 he’s comfortable with Cheewan, otherwise, he won’t agree to hang out with Cheewan. in fact, he likes Cheewan since they’re kids. The flashback gave a backstory of this couple.
another favourite scene is when Saruj rushed out to meet Cheewan before she returned to Thai. He needed to say a few words and bid farewell to Cheewan. at that moment, both realised they fell for each other but can’t be together bcuz of status and distance 😭 then Saruj had to call her a little sister to lessen the pain, I guess. lol. Saruj smiled a lot and I know this isn’t common 😂 Cheewan is his happy pill.
I have 2 more favourite scenes: 1. Cheewan at Saruj’s apartment, they ate dinner together, cooked by Cheewan. Saruj shared earphones with Cheewan, that’s so out of his character 😂 but I love it! he isn’t subtle in expressing his feelings cause he does it with his actions. He can’t express it verbally which one of the reason his previous relationship fell apart. 2. when they did dishes together. such a domestic scene! 🥰 they flirted a bit 🤏🏻 Saruj teaser her. hahaha. Saruj’s character: 0. An introvert 1. a workaholic 2. because of no 1, he is serious about everything and only talk when necessary + married to his work lol 3. he has an ex-gf, dated since high school until university. broke up because she ditched him to marry another man. 4. he doesn’t know how to please his partner 😭 however, I can’t wait to see that change when he’s pursuing Cheewan. Hoping for a character development 🤞🏻
Cheewan’s characters: 0. An extrovert 1. She approaches her life with positive thinking to endure her harsh environment 😢 It touched my heart when she ameliorated the situation which amazed Saruj. 2. She’s attuned to her surroundings and uses that ability to understand Saruj. She’s friendly too, adapt to every one without a problem. 3. People pleaser 😭 she’s so kind and pure. my heart goes out to her.
Creamy as Cheewa is excellent. she cried a lot and her agony can be felt on the screen. The father of her child is still kept in the dark. I hope her family will be supportive and help her through the pregnancy 🥹 and Simon seems nice, I hope it stays that way lol.
Now, the girls are both back to their homes. I’m excited to watch episode 3. 😂

Next, madam orn is asking cheewan to play cupid. 🫠 she said: 1. if you respect me, you should make saruj fall in love with cheewa 2. don’t let anyone knows about this she wants kedsara’s daughter to be a part of juthathep so this old lady is very persistent in pushing her agenda to saruj even though 4 of the brothers have married to Dhevaprom girls. she’s certainly hasn’t changed and that irked me a lot. arranged marriage is fine but it’s not when you’re authoritative 🫠 she is also pushing saruj to marry cheewa cuz kedsara is her favourite person, this is the message she wrote in Saruj’s letter. lmao okay so tell me did she learn her lesson? 🫠

The ending scene, Cheewan visited Cheewa after a week of not meeting her. I thought they’re living in the same dorm, apparently not? This is weird. So, the timeline of Cheewa and Dalat’s relationship is odd. I’m dissatisfied with the first episode 😣 maybe because I’ve read spoilers. when they’re not properly executed, it’s regretful in many ways.
Anyway, Cheewa’s personality is easy to love. She’s a sunshine. One thing I’m not proud of is, she sees herself as a lackey cuz of her family status and it’s been drilled into her upbringing. Not really a big issue since it’s set in 1997.
Cheewa on the other hand, she has a lot of admirers. She’s pretty so people, specifically men flocked around her and desire her. The disadvantage of being pretty 😭
Meanwhile Saruj… the tsundere male lead. hahaha. so far i’m liking his character. He’s reliable just like the rest of the monkeys.
