laorchan is my comfort drama. i’m glad i chose it to be the first when i started this dhevaprom universe. although it’s not perfect, i enjoyed the ML chasing after FL like a golden retriever 🤭 he never doubt his love to Laorchan and stayed by her side until the end. I am a sucker for a loser boyfriend trope 😂
Gina as the FL was a reason I wanted to give this a shot. I have watched her acting 2 years ago and wondered how much she has grown since then. I was impressed by her acting as Princess Fueangphet. she was able to maintain her composed and mysterious personality consistently. it wasn’t an easy fit to switch between two characters and i applauded her for that.
Due to the nature of lakorn and writing, the storyline was not up to par. this is like the major problem in lakorn. I wish it could change drastically but it takes time. Nothing we can do about that. Unless they check our feedback.
For people who have read the book, did Fah mom's really just left when her husband was dying and her daughter…
i wish there’s thai fans to help answer this question cause i’ve a lot of questions too but remain unanswered cause of the language barrier. i saw on tiktok, dujupsorn’s book is thinner than the rest of the series. so, i guess the book is simpler? i don’t like being in the dark 😭😭😭
the male lead- Petch, has flaws and sometimes contradict his image but doesn’t that make him a dimensional character?…
what he said in the lake scene was a repetition from the beach scene 😂 let’s revisit the insecurity part of Petch’s character. He has been in love with Fah since the day he met her 2 years ago. For sure, he really wants to be reassured by Fah that Fah loves him back. He lost his confidence, he has been chasing after her for a long time, he was out of her character for Fah. for example, everyone in the office, his family & strangers can see his affection to Fah, he didn’t hide it based on his actions. he kinda wear his heart on his sleeves, don’t you think? Hence, he needs verbal affirmation to feel relief and importantly validate his feelings lol. Boy is so miserably in love I understand why he lose his mind in episode 12. Then, it doesn’t help when Fah is kind to everyone + giving him mixed signals(poor our girl had to pretend she was okay when she’s struggling too), that’s why he was unsure about Fah’s feeling to him. hahaha. We know why Fah had to follow her mother’s plan but Petch doesn’t, he was keep at arm’s length.whenever he wanted to touch the subject, Fah will change the topic or shut down. it doesn’t help when He’s the type that needs clear-cut evidence to trust someone. He hates being deceived so much but for Fah, he’s willing to make an exception. It’s so funny cause he depicts the statement of ‘men are pretty direct creatures and can’t see subtle signs’. And he also doesn’t waste his time chasing after women so for Fah to reject his confession, it sure bruises his ego, hahahaha. The audacity of Fah😂 Fah, you go girl! I’ll always be your cheerleader 🤭 + this is probably Petch first time in doing a serious relationship with someone that he can see a potential future with lol. he doesn’t know how to handle a woman. He’s so inexperienced. Lol. It reflected in his actions, right? 😂
if i were to live in that generation, i’ll be shunned by society cause i would disagree on so many things 😭 kudos to women who fight for our rights so we can have freedom of speech now.
Fah is an icon. I would never hate her. Fah and Laorchan are similar in some ways. Laorchan was raised to be a woman that can stand up for herself. They’re resilient cause of the adversity and trauma they experienced in their childhood. this is one of the reasons i’m drawn to them. as for Fah, just like the doctor said, she’s really strong for not falling into depression after becoming a caregiver for her mom.
Petch is a well-written character. his shortcomings make his character interesting 😂 he grew up in inclusive and educated environments so he can’t relate to commoners, unfortunately. hahaha. as he comes from aristocratic family, money and power normally comes to him. as much as i’m not comfortable with that scene where he brought Fah and Rampa to eat and shop, but it unknowingly showed simplicity in his thought process. he takes Aunt Phon’s word by word. It satisfied me when Fah scolded him.
Right. I am anxious. Trying not to fret about it 😭
Do you think that the inconsistency of his character because of the drama setting that was based in the 90s? Because,…
yeah T in mbti 😂 not an expert of the personality type but i did some research on it hahahah. from his actions and words, he tends to weight things based on logical and principles. for example, he didn’t understand Fah for rejecting him and it took 2 people to knock some sense into him to think and look from different perspectives. he lacks that sense of empathy and interpersonal connection in decision making. just like he bought land in ChiangMai without thinking of consequences he will face then put himself in danger. He didn’t listen to Jak’s advice and warning, lol. when he told Jak he did the deal by the book, i was frustrated. hahaha. Things aren’t simple but he thinks so, good for you i guess. 😂 Obviously, Petch is not on that level yet. Kinda put higher expectations on him 😂

yep! that is an important factor that affects his character. however, he's a trustworthy person, he doesn't often go against his own words, his ego gets in the way and that clouds his judgement. he sees things in black and white, that's why he has a hard time to empathise. he's a T. 🤣 he loses his cool when it involves Fah haha
the inconsistency in Petch's character is frustrating me to no end. regardless of that, i have some thoughts on…
the male lead- Petch, has flaws and sometimes contradict his image but doesn’t that make him a dimensional character? it adds colours to his personality. in this series, the writer wants us to see his action and personality when he’s in love with a woman. usually he is a composed man that makes him looks admirable and respected. his passive-aggressive attitude might stem on his insecurities. he is not used to rejection cause who will reject him? no one. even though he is not a casanova, he has no problem in that area. sometimes he’ll hang out with Chawit(ex playboy) to the club and have fun. from my observation, since i’ve watched laorchan, kwanruetai & jaipisut, these 5 monkeys like women that challenge them emotionally and physically 😂 Petch is strong-headed then he met Fah who has her own conflict and struggles. she also gives Petch mixed signals and Petch unconsciously reciprocated that. both won’t back down from their ego and that’s fascinating to watch cause the tension is intense and palpable. in previous series, Petch is portrayed as a reliable brother and son to his family and there’s no glimpse of his personal life was shown to us. Petch is also a hyper-independence person thus, he thinks he can do everything by himself, becomes uptight when someone offers to help and displays defensiveness in his actions which his younger brothers don't have the guts to call him out because in a way they owe him a lot. the power trip is pretty obvious but no one dares to address the elephant in the room 😂 i wish the writer used Kun Chai Tharathorn to give him guidance but till the end they're pushing the leader role to Petch lol. The good thing from this is, Petch sticks to his eldest brother's attitude and mindset in consistent manner. He gets things done and managed to find Rampa for his family.
Petch and Chawit's dynamic: They have connection cause both of them are the eldest and they share the same sentiments in most things that others can’t relate or understand. i realised, Petch listened to his advice and constructive criticism because they’ve that bond as eldest children and brother to their sisters.
This is Phum's appreciation post. Phum is like a filler character to spice up things. unfortunately, his character is underdeveloped here. fyi, the juthathep family is very nosy so i am not bothered with Phum being the matchmaker for our leads 😂 if you’ve watched laorchan, you’ll know what i meant. even though he’s nosy, he doesn’t has ill intentions to Petch. but Petch is oblivious cause he is jealous that Phum is closed to Fah. he’s not honest with Phum and Phum is the youngest so there’s a hierarchy you can see here. he can’t really say anything cause he doesn’t want to offend Petch and he just really respects him as his eldest brother and cousin. Remember, Jak & K’ Chai Pee told him that he’s lucky he doesn’t taste Petch’s wrath 😂 this is my assumption, i think Phum is trying to investigate Fah’s mother in secret as to not alert anyone else before he has evidence. Fah wouldn’t want this to reach Petch. Phum is really sweet and it saddens me to see people finds him as a nuisance. hahaha. sometimes he does get on our nerves but he’s caring to the point he sticks his nose to everyone’s faces. he has a big heart and he’s under appreciated 😭
Feel free to add anything and comment. I didn't mean to analyse him but he's an interesting character i can't help to ponder deeply 😭

I hope he won't get back Fah so easy. I need the grovelling to be long. He wants to take back Fah, but he's teasing…
there's no time for grovelling when only one episode left for them to make up T___T its like the writer ran out of juice after building up the storyline.. sigh. watching this drama with high expectations just for them to crash the momentum with half-ass writing.
